Elnette And The Bath

Thanks to the expansion of Emily’s range of movement, the workload became much lighter, and we were able to close up shop afterward without any issues. Patty headed home, and Rachel immediately went up to her room, saying she had work to do.

“Well then, Kent-san, shall we head back?”

“Yes, let’s.”

Catherine should already be back home preparing dinner. Unusually, it ended up being just Marie-san and me walking home together.

“It’s rare for just the two of us to walk home like this.”

“Even if it is just a short trip across the street,” she replied.

My house is right across the road from the shop. Because of that, we arrived in the blink of an eye.

“ “I’m home.” “

“Welcome back, Mother, Kent-san.”

Catherine greeted us as we stepped inside.

“Oh, by the way, Elnette said she was coming over later.”

“Is that so? Does she have some business with us?”

I told Marie-san what Elnette had said to me that evening.

“It seems she’s coming to borrow the bath.”

“I see… so that’s how it is.”

Marie-san answered, looking as if she had realized something.

“Well then, Kent-san, please eat!”

I was just starting on the black mass of a dinner Catherine had prepared when our guest arrived.

“Sorry for intruding so late at night.”

Elnette stepped inside.

“Elnette-san, would you like to eat too?”

“I think I will. I’d appreciate it.”

When Catherine asked, it turned out Elnette hadn’t eaten yet. Catherine prepared a portion for her and set it on the table.

“Um… is this actually safe to eat?”

Elnette asked, staring at the dinner (the black mass).

“It looks a bit… unique, but it’s delicious,” I replied.

“I see. Well, let’s give it a try… munch… actually, this is quite good!”

Contrary to her initial reaction to its appearance, Elnette was surprised and began shoveling the black mass into her mouth. After several helpings, she looked quite satisfied.

“Catherine, thanks for the meal. That was truly tasty.”

“Thank you, Elnette-san!” Catherine replied happily.

“I’m sorry for imposing on you like this today.”

“No, it’s fine. Even if you have a shower, sometimes you just want to soak in a tub.”

“Ah… right. Yeah. Sometimes you just get in that mood. Hahaha!”

Elnette’s response was a bit awkward.

“Elnette-san, I understand. Leave it to me.”

Marie-san whispered to her.

“Well then, Catherine, let’s go take a bath together.”

Marie-san took Catherine and headed to the bathroom first. Left behind, Elnette and I sat side-by-side on the sofa.

“!?”

Elnette pressed herself right up against me and grabbed my hand. Then, she stole my lips.

“Mgh… chu.”

Elnette’s tongue entered my mouth. I wondered what to do. Should I follow my instincts and accept it, or use my reason to stop her? But I was always weak to pressure. I ended up accepting her, and we shared a deep kiss.

“Actually, I’ve never loved anyone like this before. But now, I can’t suppress these feelings anymore.”

With that, Elnette reached down to try and lower my pants.

“Wait, this is really bad, isn’t it?”

I hurriedly stopped her. If we were alone, things might have progressed that way, but Marie-san and Catherine were under the same roof. Especially since I had an adult relationship with Marie-san, it would be terrible if we were caught like this.

“But…”

Elnette said, looking disappointed.

“We’re finished with the bath!”

Suddenly, the living room door opened, and Marie-san stepped out.

“Oh my. I was looking forward to seeing how far you two had gotten, but it looks like you haven’t made much progress.”

Marie-san spoke while wrapped in nothing but a single bath towel.

“Marie-san, did you know this was going to happen?”

“Well, I had a feeling. I don’t know what Caro-chan would say, but since I did something similar to Kent-san, I can’t really say anything if you have relationships with other women. Besides… Elnette-san is… no, it’s nothing.”

Marie-san started to say something but suddenly cut herself off.

“Kent-san, the bath is ready!”

Catherine also came out wrapped only in a towel. Usually, she would change before coming out, which I found strange.

“Well then, Kent-san, Elnette-san, why don’t you two go in together?”

“M-Marie-san!”

Marie-san practically pushed us into the bathroom.

“Since Marie-san said so, shall we go in?”

“Y-yeah.”

Looking a bit nervous, Elnette began to undress.

“Oh? Elnette, were you wearing underwear?”

“Y-yes, is there a problem?”

“I just thought, you really must be from a high-status family.”

Ordinary commoners don’t wear tailored underwear; they usually use simple wraps to cover themselves. However, wealthy commoners and nobles wear specifically sewn undergarments. We undressed and entered the bathroom.

“Do you know how to use the shower?”

“It’s fine. There’s a shower at the shop too, so Rachel taught me. I must say again, this is incredibly convenient. Now, I’ll wash you first, Kent.”

Saying that, Elnette applied body soap to a sponge and started to lather it with practiced ease. However, lacking experience in washing others, her movements on my body were quite clumsy. Once she finished, it was my turn to wash her.

“Alright, Elnette, I’m going to wash you now, okay?”

“O-oh. Right. I’m counting on you.”

I began washing Elnette with practiced hands. Perhaps due to her sword training, her body had various scars on it.

“Kent, you seem… used to this.”

“W-well…”

I had washed Caro and Marie-san many times by now, so I had become accustomed to the process. I cleaned her with a smooth, efficient routine.

“Soaking in the tub really is great.”

Elnette said with a satisfied look.

The two of us soaked in the water. Since it was a home bathtub, it wasn’t huge, but it was plenty big enough for two.

“Looking at your body, Elnette… are those scars from your sword training?”

“Yes, partly. But also from guard work—if you get into a fight, you’re bound to get hurt. I’d given up on romance, so I never cared about being ‘damaged goods’ before, but… does it bother you, Kent?”

“Not at all. I just noticed while I was washing you.”

“That’s good, then.”

With that, Elnette hugged me. We kissed and gazed into each other’s eyes. Her face was bright red, likely from nervousness.

“Elnette, shall we… go all the way?”

“With this… I too… will know a man… kyuuu~”

Suddenly, the strength left Elnette’s body, and she slumped against me.

“Hey, Elnette! Are you okay?”

I tried shaking her, but there was no sign of her waking up.

“Marie-san! Something happened to Elnette! Come here for a second!”

I called Marie-san using the bathroom intercom. I heard the thumping of footsteps as she rushed in.

“Kent-san, what happened?”

“Elnette suddenly went limp. Please help me carry her.”

“Oh dear, she just got lightheaded from the heat.”

Marie-san and I dried Elnette off and laid her on the living room sofa.

“Thanks, Marie-san.”

“It’s fine. More importantly, Kent-san, why don’t you put some clothes on? You haven’t even dried yourself yet.”

As told, I dried off and changed into my jersey. The air conditioning was on in the living room, keeping it at a comfortable temperature. Elnette would likely wake up soon.

“Looks like it ended in a dud this time. Were you disappointed, Kent-san?”

“Marie-san, please don’t tease me.”

“I’ll give you a little something to make up for the rest, so be patient with that.”

Saying this, Marie-san gave me a light kiss, just a soft brush of the lips.
