~An Infinitely Meta Space~

“All right, let’s keep introducing everyone! Today, we’ll be covering the people from this world! Your hosts are me, Konoha Kushibiki, and—!”

“Meiro.”

“There sure are a lot more characters in this story now, huh? If you’re thinking, ‘This is such a pain, I have to remember all these people?’ Don’t worry! For now, there actually aren’t that many people you really need to remember!”

“The author’s approach is basically to throw a whole bunch of characters in at the beginning, then focus on them later, so there’s no need to strain yourself trying to remember everyone. You only need to remember Konoha and me.”

“Th-That’s a little extreme…”

“Now, let’s get on with the explanations.”

★Sacred Kingdom of Parsia★

→The kingdom began one thousand years ago, when Parsia, its first king, planted his banner upon the land of Paris Palace and a royal castle was built there, establishing a kingdom that had endured for a millennium. It was magnificent and extravagant, housing Barijis Palace, where the royal family lived, and the Grand Temple of Maxcatis, the headquarters of the Fortuna Sect of the Church of the Full Moon. The First Branch of the Guild Federation, which fell under the authority of the Seven Generals, was also located there, and its influence extended throughout the entire continent. Incidentally, the Federation’s headquarters was located in Londinion, the capital of the United Kingdom of Brutein, which was considered comparatively neutral.

→Its sphere of influence covered most of the continent. It had turned the small eastern nations into vassal states and possessed numerous colonies along the coast of the Southern Continent. It was currently in conflict with the Lilvitze Empire, the Southern Alliance, and the United Kingdom of Brutein.

★Royal Capital Government★

→The Elkdreil dynasty currently ruled the kingdom. With King Elkdreil at the pinnacle of the state, the kingdom had been gradually transforming into a centralized nation. Up through the reign of Elkdreil VII, the government had been controlled administratively and militarily by a parliament and a military led by the 【Five Noble Clans】 under a single Chancellor. However, after the Five Noble Clans were destroyed during the reign of Elkdreil VIII, powerful Guild members close to the king were promoted to the rank of general. At present, four Chancellors, including one from the Southern Continent, a single 【Supreme Commander】 who served as Minister of the Military, and seven generals known as the Seven Generals led all governmental institutions.

“What are the 【Five Noble Clans】?”

“The main story will explain them soon, but they were families that handled various duties, including military affairs, under the Chancellor. They were descended from the five knights who served the first King Parsia, but they were destroyed fairly recently.”

“You skipped way too much of the story there. Also, we never went to the Grand Temple of Maxcatis, huh? Actually, I don’t think I even saw it when we toured the royal capital.”

“Ordinary people normally aren’t allowed inside. The priests of the Church of the Full Moon and people called Inquisitors are there, so most people don’t even go near it.”

“Inquisitors?”

“They’ll also be explained later in the main story, but they’re essentially the military arm of the Church of the Full Moon. They’re an armed group made up of exceptional adventurers who also worship the Full Moon faith. Apparently, once they brand someone a heretic, they’ll hunt that person down until they’re dead.”

“Th-That’s scary… All right! Let’s change the mood and move on to the character introductions!”

★Royal Family★

☆Elkdreil VIII

Age: ?

Notes: Bearded middle-aged king

→He fervently worshipped and supported the Church of the Full Moon and had started wars throughout various regions under the pretext of expanding the faith. He was considered responsible for imposing heavy taxes on the Southern Continent and outlying regions, but he rarely appeared in public, remaining secluded within the royal palace alongside the Pope and others.

☆First Princess Mariage

Age: 17

Notes: Beautiful girl with fluffy blond hair and blue eyes

→Elkdreil VIII’s eldest daughter. A lesbian. She had wanted to meet Konoha, but the day of the attack arrived before she ever got a proper chance, so they ultimately still hadn’t really met.

☆Second Princess Leila

Age: 13

Notes: Beautiful young girl with blond hair and blue eyes

→Elkdreil VIII’s second daughter. She was extremely quiet and rarely left her room, so maids frequently went in and out of it. She seemed to be interested in Gatari, but…?

★Chancellors★

☆Chancellor Spinoza

Age: 61

Notes: Long-bearded Chancellor

→He held particularly great authority even among the four Chancellors. He was Chief Administrator Hume’s superior.

☆Chancellor Freud

Age: 59

Notes: Scumbag

→He was responsible for finances among the Chancellors. An absolute scumbag who squeezed money out of impoverished citizens.

★Military★

☆General Magus Sherlock

Age: 49

Notes: Bespectacled general with the air of a bureaucrat

→One of the Seven Generals, who spoke politely like a bureaucrat. He was permanently stationed in the royal capital and exercised part of the Supreme Commander’s authority. He was directly involved with the Royal Guard Knights and was on close terms with Legato. A scheming four-eyed bastard.

☆General Eden Nosvel

Age: 54

Notes: Boisterous general

→Despite his stern appearance, he was a womanizing general who laughed heartily with a “Fwahahaha!” He was one of the Seven Generals. Although his primary duty was defending the royal capital, he also served as part of a rapid-response force that suppressed internal conflicts. He was closely associated with a pharmacist in the royal capital and conducted inhumane experiments using slaves. He annihilated the Hazardo rebel forces.

☆General Miranda Cascatis

Age: 48

Notes: White-haired older lady general

→A serious female general. One of the Seven Generals. She pledged absolute loyalty to the king. She annihilated the Hazardo rebel forces.

☆Chief Administrator Hume

Age: 38

Notes: Perverted piece of garbage

→An elite who had risen to Chief Administrator at the young age of thirty-eight… or rather, a piece of garbage who had received an unprecedented promotion because his inhumane experimental results were highly valued. He constantly caused bizarre disturbances around the royal palace, but because he was a Chief Administrator directly subordinate to a Chancellor, he was never punished. He developed military weapons for the kingdom. A depraved pervert with a habit of indulging in delusions.

☆Royal Guard Knight Commander Legato Forbessa

Age: 34

Notes: Handsome red-haired older man

→A prodigy who served as commander of the Royal Guard Knights despite being only thirty-four years old. Not only was he highly skilled with the sword, but he was also gentlemanly and kind. He had taken a liking to Konoha. Because he was handsome, he was extremely popular among the students.

★Fortuna Sect of the Church of the Full Moon★

☆Pope

Age: ?

Notes: Old man

→The Pope of the Fortuna Sect of the Church of the Full Moon. He held even greater authority than the king.

☆First-Class Priest Norvard Galek

Age: ? (Appeared to be around twenty)

Notes: Handsome young man with black hair

→A handsome Inquisitor. He had been serving as an Inquisitor for an extremely long time. According to one theory, he was so powerful that he possessed strength equivalent to the Silver Moon class. He gave off the impression of a gentle young man, but he did not hesitate to kill. He annihilated the Hazardo rebel forces.

☆First-Class Priest Rakka Tillier le Cherine

Age: ? (Appeared to be around twenty)

Notes: Beautiful white-haired woman with rabbit ears

→An Inquisitor who referred to herself as “ate.” Despite being a demi-human, she held the high-ranking position of Inquisitor. She was careless about all sorts of things and acted as though absolutely everything was a bother. Even her sentence endings changed unpredictably, sometimes becoming things like “right?” and other times ending with “hop.” She absolutely adored cute girls.

“I still don’t really understand things like Chief Administrators or generals. How does all of this work?”

“Hmm… In that case, let’s explain the kingdom’s system a little.”

★About the Kingdom★

→The kingdom placed King Elkdreil at its pinnacle. Beneath him were the Chancellors and the Supreme Commander, who respectively controlled the parliament and the military. The military hierarchy was as follows:

From highest to lowest: Supreme Commander, Seven Generals (full generals), Generals (lieutenant generals, major generals, and so on), Senior Chief Administrators, Chief Administrators, Councillors, Assistant Councillors, Unit Commanders, Soldiers, Demi-Human Soldiers

Ranks were also distinguished by medals attached to military uniforms, and a Chief Administrator who possessed five medals became a General. Among the Generals, the Seven Generals held the highest positions.

→As for the Inquisitors, their hierarchy was:

From highest to lowest: Pope, High-Ranking Priests, First-Class Priest (Chief), First-Class Priests, Second-Class Priests, Third-Class Priests

“There are still plenty of things I don’t understand, but that’s fine for now! It’s totally okay if you don’t understand any of it!”

“Well, we’ll provide additional explanations later. Things like the Guilds and the various institutions.”

“And with that, the next arc begins! Please keep supporting this story from here on out!”
