Several years have passed since I started being called the Sexual-Harassment Overlord…

Of course, it hasn’t.

Emotionally it feels like I’ve lived through a very long time… but that’s definitely my imagination. I haven’t aged from stress either.

But you know? How should I put it… I’ve become extremely conscious of where to put my eyes… seriously, the Overlord might collapse from mental strain…

Especially Illmit and Camilla.

When I don’t know where to look!

At this point maybe I should just stare outright…

While thinking such things, I spent about a month in torment.

I still haven’t managed to stare.

That aside, I didn’t spend that whole time thinking about boob—… chest armor. I did my work properly too.

Victor informed the former Lumoria nobles of their surrender to Einheria, and at the same time announced that the King of Einheria himself had slain the ground dragon in the Dragon’s Nest.

At first everyone laughed it off as nonsense unworthy of belief, but when he also announced a road would be built to the Dragon’s Nest following the subjugation, messengers reportedly rushed to Victor from everywhere at incredible speed.

Apparently that ground dragon had been greatly feared… though personally it had been a rather disappointing dragon…

Then we tried displaying the frozen dragon head on the gate of the former royal capital… and the crowd became so packed the gate was unusable for several days.

There are multiple entrances into the capital so people weren’t completely blocked, but… yeah, that was a mistake.

Merchants even set up stalls outside the city to profit from the crowds, creating an uncontrollable bustle.

Unfortunately, the envoys rushing to the capital avoided the congestion and used other gates, so it didn’t help much… actually, seeing a dragon head wouldn’t make them go “Alright, let’s go home,” so maybe it really was pointless?

Still, Victor thanked me saying that placing the dragon head in the old capital made it much easier to talk about Einheria, so it wasn’t entirely meaningless.

Speaking of which, after defeating the dragon, Victor started looking at me with sparkling eyes.

Like a child looking at a favorite pro athlete… I don’t remember earning admiration like that… well, dragon slaying.

Slaying a dragon must be a great feat, even if it was a disappointing one.

Now that I think about it, Calmos and Eltrize also looked incredibly relieved… the past few months of negotiations must have been exhausting for them.

From now on Eltrize and the others will likely govern cities as magistrates… whether their burden lessens depends on the city.

Still, it’s a relief we don’t have to dispatch our own people as magistrates. In the game there were few towns and villages so it was fine, but in reality a country doesn’t just have three or four settlements…

For now we’ll keep appointing locals as magistrates… the problem is Fio.

…Not the harassment thing. The Demon King mana issue, obviously.

Is she peeking into my mind even right now…? That’s beyond stalking.

Anyway, how should we solve the Demon King problem…

I’ve ordered diplomats to gather information about the Demon King, but I didn’t make it top priority. The current top priority is information on surrounding nations. We need stable footing first… in many ways.

And sending our people far away is worrying. The Demon King is said to be in the northern continent, while Einheria lies in the south. Crossing a continent takes many days even for our ridiculously fast people.

Fio said we likely wouldn’t frenzy… but she couldn’t guarantee it.

Could we miniaturize the mana collection device… ideally something portable, maybe watch-sized?

It only needs to protect the bearer by narrowing the effective range… wait, didn’t it require activation within a settlement or dungeon?

And that’s not the only difficulty. The biggest problem is it only functions properly when assembled on site.

If we could just assemble them elsewhere and transport them, the development team would have breathing room… but Victor’s efforts rapidly expanded our territory.

We’re already busy installing them at key locations.

Since border areas were prioritized, likely invasion routes from neighboring countries are already blocked.

Next come major cities, then small towns and villages… perhaps I should consult Otonoha about teaching locals to install them?

We don’t have enough mana stones to teach abilities to the current maids… nor enough maids.

We can’t have the castle management staff all disappear either…

Now that I think about it, Fio casually mentioned the new employment contract became usable… but also that the mana stone cost is outrageous.

She should’ve explained that more instead of saying unnecessary things… priorities exist, you know? Well, the last thing she said was important too… but was it true? Or a lie? Am I really called the Sexual-Harassment Overlord behind my back…?

While I was thinking that, the office door knocked.

“Lord Fels~ preparations are complete~”

“Understood. I’ll go at once.”

Hearing Illmit’s voice beyond the door made my heart tighten slightly, but I answered calmly so she wouldn’t notice.

Today I must present myself to all former Lumoria nobles.

In a world lacking transportation and communication, gathering every noble within a month is impressive.

Of course, thanks to the mana collection device’s teleportation, but still… convincing other nations to install them as anti-frenzy measures would be impossible.

They’d obviously think we planned to teleport in and conquer them.

With gloomy thoughts, I opened the door to find Illmit and Lienferia bowing properly.

…I won’t lower my gaze more than necessary. I’m an Overlord capable of restraining instinct with will.

“Sorry to keep you waiting.”

“No~ rather we feel honored to have you come~”

“Ha… A presentation to my new vassals. No trouble at all.”

Smiling with composure, I spoke, and Illmit continued as usual.

“Thank you~ Kilik is currently giving instructions in the throne room~ We’ve already informed them by document what policies Einheria will adopt, but showing it in person is necessary formally~”

“I leave such details to you. But use my presence whenever needed. For Einheria’s sake I spare no effort.”

“Understood~”

Following Illmit, I addressed Lienferia.

“Lienferia. We will soon hunt monsters. Information is being gathered; once found, we depart immediately. Remember that.”

“Yes!”

Preferably frenzied monsters, but ordinary ones will do.

I wish there were dungeons like in Legions… but Calmos confirmed no monster nests nearby.

We’ll have to hunt forest monsters steadily.

I must quickly gather Demon King mana and confirm something with Fio — a problem deeper than the sea.

I must solve it… or the Overlord’s sanity is in danger.

Lately I speak to Illmit and the others while carefully preventing my gaze from moving… honestly very stressful.

Talking with the male group like Kilik is so relaxing… and Aisha and the kids are healing too.

But even then I can’t relax.

Because the instant a woman enters my view… my eyes instinctively try to flick over.

Not good… my neck is tense lately, shoulders stiffening.

While my mind was consumed with such critical matters, we reached the throne room.

Standing before the door, I composed myself.

The heavy doors opened silently, revealing many kneeling figures with bowed heads. My people stood near the throne, unfamiliar ones near the entrance — the former Lumoria nobles.

Fewer than expected… probably under thirty.

Likely only family heads… I expected around a hundred.

Thinking that, I slowly walked toward the throne through the silent hall.

After reaching it, I did not sit, instead overlooking them all.

Well, they’re bowing so no one notices.

“Welcome to Einheria Castle, people of the former Lumoria Kingdom. And my new vassals. Raise your heads.”

They rose at my words.

The throne stands three steps above them, so I still look down on them.

Closer than a principal addressing students from a stage, though.

Without sitting, I continued:

“First, I shall introduce myself. My name is Fels — king of Einheria, known as the Overlord!”

Yes. I am Fels… Overlord Fels.

For reasons beyond fate, created by a Demon King and given the memories of a mere gamer — a one-of-a-kind Overlord.
