Violentia’s body moved even faster. Not by her own will, but by another’s.
The Earth Dragon, infuriated by Violentia’s nimble dodging, rampaged so fiercely that the cavern shook, forcing Violentia to quicken her pace.
‘Good, you’re doing well!’
I wanted to applaud the Earth Dragon’s impressive performance.
With her stronger, wider-range magic and slightly quicker movements, Violentia found it difficult to attack. She was too busy evading to even consider an attack.
Despite her love for martial arts, she’s essentially a mage.
Before regression, when I secretly checked Violentia’s physical stats in the alley, I was most surprised by her unusually high strength and agility for a mage.
So, it’s not entirely incomprehensible for her to move so quickly that afterimages remain.
‘However, her stamina was relatively low.’
That’s right. It’s important not to misunderstand the term ‘relatively.’ So, compared to what?
Compared to her high strength, agility, and absurd mana levels, her stamina was relatively low, but decent for a mage.
Yet, since her opponent is a dragon, she’ll undoubtedly have to exhaust her stamina.
‘That’s when… that’s when it’s my turn to step in.’
As the battle rages on, I cautiously approached the cave wall and subtly stirred my mana.
In this situation, where the cave was already overflowing with mana due to the two combatants, I only stirred mana, which had a significantly lower chance of being detected, excluding other divine powers.
Like scooping up a ball of ice cream, I gently grasped the hand that dug into the cave wall and pulled it away.
Then, like forming a snowball during a snowball fight, I smoothed out the rough, round stone and created a decent stone marble.
I returned behind the altar and placed it into the inventory.
Both were gradually getting exhausted.
The battle continued with intense excitement, but the outcome was predetermined. It was only a matter of how quickly it would end and how much stamina Violentia had left.
Blood was already gushing from around the left eye of the Earth Dragon, which was the focus of Violentia’s punches.
Violentia was also bleeding from various minor injuries all over her body, including both her thighs.
Moreover, the Earth Dragon now knew. It knew that Violentia only attacked its left eye.
Unlike the two beings engaged in a primal battle, biting at each other while panting heavily, I watched with interest and leisure.
It was such an exciting battle that I thought it would be perfect if I had some popcorn to watch it with.
Although it wasn’t exactly a substitute for popcorn and cola, I took out a drink from the inventory that temporarily boosts stamina and watched the thrilling fight with interest.
‘Ah, she fights really well!’
The more I saw Violentia struggling, the harder it was to suppress my laughter.
If I didn’t focus, I couldn’t help but chuckle. Fortunately, the noise of the battle was loud, or I might have been caught.
And in such a crisis situation, I felt extremely good. The unpleasant and annoying feelings I had in the Garden of Gods from meeting with Aetas were completely healed. No, it’s more than that.
Yes, it was fun.
For the first time, including all the previous ‘Battlefields of the Gods’, I was feeling enjoyment.
There were many joyful memories, but what could make a god excited here? If not battles, then it’s training every day.
While I was lost in such thoughts, a change occurred on the battlefield. A scene I would have missed if I had kept zoning out. The cunning and sly Violentia made her move.
Violentia kept aiming for the left eye.
Again, as Violentia quickly approached, the Earth Dragon closed its left eye and, with its right eye open, swung its sharp claws toward where she was attacking.
The left ground of the Earth Dragon rose, creating sharp stone spears as if it had been waiting.
Though the Earth Dragon was also aiming for this situation, unfortunately, Violentia’s target was not the closed left eye but the unprotected right eye.
Violentia, who seemed to approach from the left, used a magic she hadn’t used before, ‘Blink,’ to appear on the Earth Dragon’s right side.
As she appeared, her hand fiercely dug into the relatively weak dragon’s eye. And the chilling sound of flesh being torn rang.
Swoosh!
“Kwaaaah!!”
The sound of Violentia’s magic-infused fist digging into the Earth Dragon’s eye echoed, followed by the Earth Dragon’s agonizing scream shaking the cavern.
Violentia’s attack continued in earnest.
Various attribute spells were unleashed in succession. As if they had been trapped for too long, flames surged forward, followed by blades of wind.
Poison, electricity, ice, and water lined up toward the Earth Dragon’s right eye as if queuing in front of a famous restaurant.
One would think it would quickly close its eyes, but it repeatedly opened and closed them.
It was only after the spells stormed through like a tempest that I understood why the Earth Dragon kept blinking.
Something sparkled in that wounded eye.
The aura emanating from there was anything but ordinary.
‘Oh! Could that be… is it?’
It’s an item that defies explanation for a new representative who has just entered the ‘Battlefield of the Gods.’
But isn’t it the unexpected that often ensnares many?
Violentia, having retreated as far back as possible, flashed a rotten smile and injected mana into a diamond-like gem, then threw it to the ground.
Boom! Bang!!
As the gem shattered upon hitting the ground, something burst from the Earth Dragon’s eye, exploding with blood and flesh, followed by a stream of brain matter.
‘A Link Mana Bomb…’
The Link Mana Bomb was an item that appeared about 15 years after the ‘Battlefield of the Gods’ opened in my previous life.
Similar to a remote bomb, this mana bomb doesn’t rely on distance; if one is shattered or broken, the other explodes as well.
It was mainly used on surrendered representatives or captives to prevent betrayal.
‘Come to think of it, was the initial release also from the Demon God faction…?’
The battle was gradually drawing to a close.
Finally, the Earth Dragon lay on the ground, gasping for breath, and with a pitiful cry, it finally ceased its movements.
Now it’s my turn to move.
Tensing my entire body, I focused on the flow around the altar and used the Cooking skill on the stone orb stored in the inventory.
A stone orb. Just a pebble. Simply a smooth, child-fist-sized pebble.
I coated it with honey and sprinkled a generous amount, really a looooot, of laxatives.
Then, for the finishing touch, I dusted it with chocolate powder to make it a deep black color.
While hiding behind the altar, I briefly cut off the pure yin force, quickly raising it to freeze and harden it.
Using the Cooking skill, I instantly completed my masterpiece! The Diarrhea Core (lol)!
All preparations were complete.
Checking with ‘Flow Comprehension,’ the power that enveloped the entire cavern had disappeared.
Glancing beyond the altar to see Violentia’s movements, it seemed she’d finally assured of the Earth Dragon’s death, as she collapsed onto the ground with a thud.
Violentia, a Dragonian, always roamed in human form, but this time, having fully exerted her power, black scales were protruding all over her exposed skin and clothes.
While Violentia was momentarily off guard, I quickly moved and flicked the hardened Diarrhea Core onto something on the altar, bouncing it into the open inventory.
As soon as I confirmed its safe landing in the inventory, I carefully placed my masterpiece on the altar and moved to one side of the cavern, leaning against the wall to wait.
About 30 minutes later, Violentia, struggling to her feet, slowly moved toward the altar.
Simultaneously, I also moved slowly, sticking close to the wall, toward the cavern entrance.
While Violentia was distracted by the altar, I slipped the Earth Dragon’s corpse into the inventory as if covering it, and exited the cave.
Moving cautiously near the cave, I started to speed up as soon as Violentia completelydisappeared from sight.
Even though I felt the Force draining rapidly while using my full stealth, it didn’t matter.
‘Amazing! Amaaazing! Amazing! Amazing!! Hahahahahahaha!!’
I wanted to laugh out loud, but not yet. Moreover, since she was a monster that could use Teleportation magic at any time, I needed to move as far away as possible.
Previously, I ran straight from Exorsus to the cave, but now I turned towards the south gate instead of the west gate.
After moving like that for about an hour, I climbed up a lush tree and laughed out loud to my heart’s content.
It’s amazing. Opening the inventory, it wasn’t a dream.
The Earth Dragon’s corpse and a black core that seemed to absorb the surrounding light.
“Hahahaha. Amaaaazing!! Hahahahaha!!”
I could have fought and won, but I retreated as a special gesture for a great gift.
As long as there was no prepared anti-Teleportation scroll or magic, I could escape.
Really. It’s not because I was scared of Violentia’s stats that I glimpsed at the end.
