Power was never only measured in what could be done.
It was measured in what could be endured.
Magic had its Circles—steps deeper into the structure of reality itself.
But Aura had no interest in reality.
It measured the human body instead.
And for that reason, it used a different language.
Not Circles.
But Stars.
Aura users were ranked by refinement, not awakening.
Every Star represented a complete reconstruction of what a human body was capable of becoming.
Unlike magic, there was no Binding.
No Aspects.
No external force choosing the user.
Only discipline.
Only repetition.
Only suffering refined into strength.
At the lowest recognized level of Aura mastery stood the One-Star and Two-Star users.
They were soldiers, guards, and trained fighters.
1-Star Aura Users have basic Aura reinforcement, improved strength and endurance, limited weapon enhancement, and can overpower multiple untrained humans.
2-Star Aura Users display a consistent Aura circulation, enhanced reaction speed, partial resistance to blades and blunt force, and are capable of defeating low-level mages in close combat.
At this stage, Aura was still unstable.
It flickered.
It drained quickly.
It required constant focus.
But even here, it already surpassed ordinary humanity.
Beyond 2 stars?
At this level, Aura stopped being “activation” and became “nature.”
3-Star Aura Users have continuous Aura flow, heightened perception of intent and movement, weapon strikes that carry explosive kinetic force, and are capable of fighting Second Circle magicians evenly in close range.
4-Star Aura Users have near-instant reaction speed, a passive Aura defense (always active), they can destroy magical constructs through pure impact timing, and can survive direct low-to-mid level spell bombardment.
At this stage, Aura users are no longer soldiers. They are walking war conditions.
Train past 4 stars and you are a walking disaster.
At the highest confirmed level of recorded Aura mastery, humanity begins to break its own definition.
To a 5-Star Aura User, Aura becomes instinct rather than technique, physical movement exceeds visual tracking for most observers, they can interrupt spellcasting through pressure disruption alone, and can overwhelm Fourth Circle magicians in direct combat
6-Star Aura Users no longer require conscious activation because their body responds before thought completes. They can distort battlefield space through raw kinetic pressure, and can kill a Fifth Circle magicians in direct confrontation.
A 6-Star Aura Master is not just strong.
They are a natural calamity that chose a human shape.
Even the Conclave does not dismiss them lightly.
Even Archons adjust strategy when one appears.
Beyond the Sixth Star, Aura theory enters uncertainty.
There is no official confirmation of anything higher.
No recorded training method.
No verified case.
And yet—all major factions agree on one uncomfortable possibility.
The Imperial Bloodline of the western empire is said to possess something beyond classification.
A being referred to in whispers only as:
“The Seventh Star.”
Not a rank.
Not a confirmed state.
A rumor wrapped in fear.
Accounts differ. Some say that they move without sound through entire battlefields. Others claim they can kill fellow Aura Masters without drawing their weapon. Their presence alone suppresses weaker Aura users
Nothing is verified.
Everything is feared.
The interesting part is not the rumor itself.
It is the reaction to it.
Both major magical organizations behave cautiously around the Imperial Bloodline.
The Conclave avoids direct confrontation with imperial Aura domains.
The Covenant does not attempt large-scale destabilization of imperial succession.
Neither confirms the Seventh Star monster exists.
But neither denies it either. And none had the courage to test that theory.
And in Arcaia—silence from both sides is often the loudest confirmation.
Magic shapes reality
Aura destroys distance
Monarchies survive through deterrence
Conclave survives through classification
Covenant survives through disruption
And between all of them… the strongest Aura Masters and highest Circle magicians are not enemies.
They are counterweights.
Each system preventing the others from becoming absolute.
