In the rift between dimensions.

I was grinding my teeth while watching the battle around the Royal Capital displayed on the screen.

The Demon God Magnaurus, who was sitting at the table drinking alcohol, clapped his hands in delight.

“Hyahha! Seeing those Luktia priests disappear is the best!”

“Are you fine with our world losing!?”

“Like I care! Watching weaklings struggle uselessly makes my whole body tingle with excitement!”

“Kuh!”

That twisted Demon God was not someone I could have a proper conversation with.

As if venting my irritation, I shouted toward Mithra, the World Core.

“Can I still not return to my original world, Mithra!?”

“Yes, not yet.”

“Is there something lacking besides magic power? I’ll do anything!”

“That is a pleasing offer, but impossible things are impossible. To compare it to a computer you would not understand, there is no god in your world, so I cannot set a route. I do not have administrator privileges, so I am repeatedly carrying out port-scan attacks to break in through a back door.”

“Yeah, I don’t understand that at all. —How much longer will it take?”

“A few minutes, or a few hours. For now, please drink some tea and wait.”

“I can’t afford to do something so leisurely! If I don’t return as quickly as possible, Liricia, the world will—oh?”

A pure white change appeared on the screen displaying the area around the Royal Capital, so I accidentally let out a strange voice.

Near the Royal Capital.

Under the dark red cloudy sky, Skels, the Great Demon King, a dark giant twenty meters long, was standing.

Rubel, floating in the sky, was shining brightly like a torch.

Then, along with an immature voice saying, “Kiiiin!”, a pure white giant body came falling down.

When the giant body landed on the earth while blowing away the storm of flames Rubel had released, a heavy tremor shook the world with a rumbled boom.

It was Rāna, enlarged to twenty meters long.

Her apparent age was about five. She was the same total length as the Great Demon King, but there was an obvious difference in their proportions.

The giant little girl charged at the Great Demon King, her long white hair and the hem of her white one-piece dress that covered down to her ankles swaying.

Even the Great Demon King took one step back in surprise at the little girl who suddenly appeared.

“Wh-what is this thing!?”

“Kyu-kyui, punch!”

Bwoooom!

The giant little girl’s careless fist struck the Great Demon King in the face.

“Guhah!”

Ruuumble!

The Great Demon King was blown away, smashing down onto the earth while knocking over the remaining burned trees with cracking sounds.

The Great Demon King raised his upper body while holding his punched cheek.

Rāna took a fighting pose and threw one-two punches while looking down at the Great Demon King with stern eyes.

“Kyu, kyu, kyaai!”

“An existence like a mass of Holy Wave… Are you a sacred dragon?”

“Kyai!”

When Rāna nodded, the Great Demon King slowly stood up.

“However, it seems you have not regained your original power. —Very well, I shall also invite you into the abyss of darkness! Deyah!”

“Kyaaaai!”

The Great Demon King stepped in at wonderful speed and threw a fist wrapped in a dark aura.

Rāna also took one large step forward and threw a punch clad in a bluish-white aura, almost like a counter.

Bwoooom!

Both of their fists struck each other’s faces, and a cross counter exploded.

Both were blown away by the force and collapsed behind them with roaring crashes.

Rubel, who was looking down at the battle, muttered in astonishment.

“This is somehow different from the battle I imagined…”

Rubel had imagined a battle like those told in myths, where a giant dragon and a giant fought.

Kou’s dungeon.

In the hall where Kou, the Dungeon Core, was located, monster remains were scattered about.

The entrance to the enemy dungeon that had been in the passage was already gone.

In the hall were the angel Liricia, Sophia, the elf Teti, and the ice beast Fenrir together with the wolves.

A screen was displayed above Kou’s sphere, showing the battle near the Royal Capital.

Liricia pressed closer to Kou in surprise and said.

“Why did Rāna-chan become a giant little girl!? What on earth is going on, Kou-chan!?”

“That’s right. I was sure she would turn into a dragon and fight.”

Sophia also tilted her head in wonder.

Only Kou answered calmly in her usual tone.

“Originally, there are six orbs, and she revives as a large Sacred White Dragon. Since one orb is missing, that is the optimal answer.”

“““That is!?”””

“She returned to age five, then made her body bigger with the magic power of five orbs. There ain’t any other way to make her body as big as the Great Demon King.”

“I-is that so… Please do your best, Rāna-chan…”

Liricia clasped both hands in front of her chest and looked at the screen as if praying.

On the screen, Rāna was fighting desperately, but both sides were blown away by a cross counter.

Near the Royal Capital.

Rāna and the Great Demon King had collapsed onto the earth from the cross counter where they punched each other’s faces.

The first to get up was the Great Demon King. He stood on both feet despite staggering.

“You are good, brat!”

Rāna slowly stood up, but blood streamed down from her little nose.

When she wiped it with the back of her hand, she glared at the Great Demon King with a spirited smile.

“Kyaiii!”

Rāna moved forward quickly while shaking the earth.

The Great Demon King anxiously swung at her face with something like a hook, but Rāna crouched and dodged it.

Then, while extending her knees, she punched the Great Demon King’s jaw with an uppercut.

“Guhah! —Impressive!”

The Great Demon King fought back while taking one step back.

From there, they unfolded a fierce offense and defense of punching and being punched by each other.

When Rāna dodged the Great Demon King’s right straight with a sway, she firmly guarded in front of her face with both arms and approached with sliding steps while swaying her upper body in a figure-eight pattern like a Dempsey Roll—.

Meanwhile, in the rift between dimensions.

In the pitch-black space where only the core hall existed, I continued pouring magic power into Mithra, the World Core.

The Demon God Magnaurus was watching the fistfight between Rāna and the Great Demon King on the screen with rapt attention.

“That’s good, do it, do it! —Hey, Alec.”

“What?”

“Wanna bet on which one wins?”

“I don’t have time for that! Besides, our world can’t lose!”

“Tch! You really are a boring guy.”

“Shut up. I’m going to live leisurely with Liricia forever. For that, Mithra, is it ready yet!?”

The instant I asked, the surface of Mithra’s sphere flashed violently.

Mithra raised a joyful voice.

“It has connected, Alec-san!”

“What!? Really!?”

The hall had white walls with floral patterns floating on them.

A short distance away from us, a heavy double door appeared. It was made entirely of white stone and decorated beautifully as if vines were entwining around it.

Mithra said in a light voice.

“If you open that door, it will be the world you came from!”

“Thank you, Mithra! —We’re going back, Magnaurus. Return to being a sword.”

“Yeah, yeah.”

Magnaurus yawned as if he was not enthusiastic, then stood up while scratching his head.

When he came beside me, he turned into smoke and settled inside the sheath hanging at my waist.

I headed toward the door.

I put strength into it and pushed the door. However, it did not open.

“Hm? Is it a sliding door?”

“No, it is a door that opens by pushing.”

“Is it unlocked too?”

“It is not locked.”

“Then—hah!”

While releasing Holy Wave, I pushed the door as if ramming it with my shoulder.

I pushed with all my strength, also putting my impatience into it.

However, the door only made a creaking, gii—gigi—sound and opened by merely about one centimeter.

Through the gap, I could see the dark red cloudy sky and the nostalgic Royal Capital. In the distant view was the mansion in the forest.

Apparently, the door was facing south and had appeared in midair.

But from there, no matter how much I pushed, the door would not open.

While pushing the door, I asked Mithra.

“Mithra, it won’t open any more than this!”

“As expected, without an administrator present, this may be the limit.”

“No way! Is there any other method?”

After making the sphere’s surface flash for a while in response to my question, Mithra said.

“In that case, it might open if someone pulls from the outside as well. In particular, the Sacred White Dragon said to carry the hero anywhere might be able to open a door that crosses dimensions?”

I looked back over my shoulder at the screen displayed in the hall.

Rāna was still fighting the Great Demon King with roaring punches.

—It might be impossible in this situation.

Even as I thought that, I brought my mouth close to the gap in the door and shouted.

“Rāna! Pull this door from the outside!”

My desperate shout echoed through the hall in the rift between dimensions, and then through the sky above the Royal Capital.
