Evening in the Royal Capital at dusk.

After staying the night at the luxury inn, I held my slave Liricia tightly and loved her deeply.

Then suddenly, pure white wings—beautiful like those of a swan—burst from Liricia’s back.

—Wait, what!? Do women grow wings when they’re overwhelmed with emotion!?

Stunned, my mouth half open, I stared in confusion until I finally came to my senses and asked Liricia:

“W-What… is this?”

“It… it looks like w-wings… ah. No way.”

Liricia wrapped her slender arms around her bare body, bending forward as if to hide her large chest.

Then her white wings spread out again with a soft whump.

It seemed she could control them at will.

After flapping them several times, something seemed to dawn on her—her violet eyes flew open as she lifted her face.

“That’s right! I was an angel who committed a sin and was cast out of the heavens!”

“What!?”

“It’s only natural for you to be shocked! I was told that if I saved the child hero, my sin would be forgiven… but I forgot that most important mission entirely! Oh… I am so terribly sorry, Master! I was meant to protect you…!”

Tears spilled from Liricia’s slightly drooping violet eyes as she clung to me.

Her slender frame, pale skin, and soft curves all trembled as if begging for forgiveness.

It was pitiful—and unbelievably adorable.

I stroked her silver hair and smiled gently.

“It’s fine. We met anyway. That’s all that matters.”

“Master! You are so kind—but truly, I am sorry. How could I forget something so important… the single most important thing…!”

Liricia threw her arms around me again, scattering tears.

“It’s fine. Don’t worry about it. You probably still can’t remember everything yet—still, why did your wings and memories suddenly come back?”

“It must be because you gave me an overwhelming amount of Serâge… it is the only power that can cleanse my sin. Master’s Serâge was the key.”

“I see… then I should give you even more Serâge.”

“Eh…? You just gave me some and you’re already preparing the next round!? As expected of Master, y-you’re amazing—ah, mm…”

I covered Liricia’s lips with mine. She desperately intertwined her tongue with mine, pleading for more.

Her white wings flapped wildly as she lost herself to me, beautiful like an angel—yet tempting enough to drive me mad like a fallen one.

I gave her Serâge again and again. I poured it into her relentlessly.

Before long, the luxurious, spacious suite was littered with white feathers.

Morning in the Royal Capital.

Faraway birdsong drifted in the air.

Comfortable morning sunlight angled into the room through the large balcony window.

I awoke atop the large bed.

White feathers were scattered all across the white sheets.

—How many times had we loved each other? I couldn’t even count how many times I embraced Liricia.

She was so beautiful, adorable, earnest, noble… I couldn’t stop wanting to hold her.

She felt like the perfect partner.

Liricia’s behavior and gestures had been wonderful as well.

Even though she only knew the theory from the slave trader, she had no practical experience—so she was both innocent and seductively awkward.

We bathed together, too, and I loved her there as well.

She accepted my first time again and again.

And my hero’s power—Serâge—did not disappear at all despite our sinful acts.

The rumor about losing hero powers after lying with a woman was either false, or someone had lied to me deliberately.

—But.

I reached out to touch Liricia, who should have been sleeping beside me.

My hand found only empty space.

Startled, I turned—and she was gone.

“Eh…”

Did she run away?

Were her words all lies?

Uncertainty crept through my heart.

Then a whoosh echoed through the room.

When I looked, Liricia—wearing nothing but a bathrobe over her bare body—was practicing, spreading and closing her wings in sync with her arm movements, sometimes twirling and releasing feathers from her wings.

She moved gracefully, like she was dancing, like she was performing a heavenly ritual. Feathers scattered with each motion of her fingertips.

Her large breasts bounced, her long silver hair drew arcs through the air.

Bathed in the morning sun, she looked like a true angel.

“Liricia…”

“Ah!”

At the moment she noticed me, Liricia spread her wings and flew toward me.

She had been standing at the far end of the spacious room, yet with one powerful kick she arrived beside the bed—almost instantaneous movement.

“Good morning, Master!”

“What were you doing?”

“I was remembering how to move my wings, and how to fight as an angel. I only have about one-tenth of my full strength, but I think I can fight reasonably well.”

“I see… so rather than a healer, you originally fought as an angel…”

“Yes! And it’s all thanks to you, Master!”

“Really?”

Liricia lowered her already drooping eyes even further and smiled sweetly.

“Yes! Because you gave me so much Serâge, I think my sealed angelic powers were restored.”

“I see… so even my supposedly ‘uselessly excessive’ Serâge was good for something.”

“That’s not true… it wasn’t useless at all. The reason your Serâge went unused… was because I failed to support you properly…”

Liricia’s brows tightened apologetically; her beautiful face looked like she was about to cry.

—Last night, too, she had cried in my arms apologizing over and over.

She deeply regretted failing her role of assisting a hero.

I wrapped my arm around her fragile shoulders and pulled her close. Soft curves pressed through the fabric into me.

“I told you not to worry about that. In this wide world, just meeting you is already a miracle.”

“Yes, Master!”

Liricia clung joyfully to me, her fingers tracing over me playfully and affectionately.

Then I noticed multiple black spots along the edge of her wings.

“By the way, were these black markings always there?”

“No… those are the marks of a fallen angel. They show how deep my sin is.”

“But aren’t they lighter than yesterday?”

“Eh?—What!? In just one day!?”

Liricia twisted to look back over her shoulder at her wings.

The dark black tips, once like they were dipped in ink, had already begun to fade into mottled patches.

Her clear, pleasant voice trembled.

“It’s true… I can summon and retract my wings freely now, too… Receiving so much Serâge, many times over… could that really be cleansing my sin and saving me?”

“Yeah, you’re being saved. Will you remain an angel like this now?”

“I don’t have much time left to stay in angel form… kyah!?”

I slipped my hand into her silver hair and drew her face close.

Then whispered softly into her cute ear:

“In that case… I’ll give you enough Serâge to keep you moving.”

“Eh—? Eeeh—!? I-It’s morning, Master!?”

“If anything, morning light makes you look even more beautiful—nn.”

“Nn—!!”

I kissed Liricia’s adorable lips and embraced her supple body tightly.

Bathed fully in the morning sun, she turned bright red with embarrassment.

But despite her shyness, she sought me more boldly—and more fiercely—than yesterday.

Her white wings flapped happily. Her large breasts swayed in perfect round arcs.

We loved each other deeply, sweating together as one.

And then, a thought crossed my mind.

—Six million Gort was cheap.

She was worth five quadrillion Gort to me, I realized only now.
