Having finished preparing for bed and tucked under the covers reading a book procured from Sinal, Liris was startled by the door slamming open and looked toward the doorway.
It was Kaiston. But somehow he seemed a little different than usual…
“Crown Princess.”
He closed the door behind him, leaned against it, and caught his breath.
“You aren’t asleep yet?”
There were only the two of them, so she tilted her head wondering why he spoke so stiffly, and he slowly stepped toward the bed. The closer he got, the stronger the smell of alcohol. After dinner, he’d said he would move to another spot to have a drink with Kyril and his father. Had he been drinking all this time?
“Master… are you all right?”
“Why would I be the Crown Princess’s master? You’re the one who owns me.”
He was drunk. Clearly drunk. Kaiston had shrugged off his uniform jacket and climbed onto her, gazing down at Liris with bleary violet eyes.
“Ha. Really, you’re so pretty.”
“Master…”
“Not ‘Master.’ My name. Say my name.”
“W-well…”
“Hurry.”
She hesitated, but his look urged her on.
“Kaiston…”
When Liris whispered his name, he smiled as if pleased.
“Good.”
He whisked away the blanket that lay between them, grabbed the handful-thin waist of Liris, and pressed his cheek against her lower belly.
“So soft.”
Liris didn’t know what to do and gave him a slight push, but of course he didn’t budge.
“What’s this even… How can anyone live when it’s this soft?”
Liris replied with a pout.
“Even with a body like this, one can live.”
“I see… you can live…”
His voice sounded somewhat disappointed.
“Crown Princess. Still, don’t abandon me. Understand?”
“Yes?”
“Even if I become useless, don’t throw me away. I’ll treat you well. I’ll cherish you like a princess, so stay with me forever, okay? Oh, well, you already are a princess.”
Watching him chuckle to himself made Liris feel uneasy without meaning to.
“What about the Marquis and Saik? You’re this drunk and you sent them back alone?”
“That father-and-son pair had already passed out, so I carried them to their rooms. After dropping them off, I had another drink by myself.”
“Ugh…”
Liris sighed deeply and continued, “Alright. Then go to sleep now. You’re very drunk.”
“Leave you and just sleep? You’re so lovely like this.”
Taken aback by his sudden advance, Liris let out a small sound.
“B-but… what are we going to do…”
“Could I just hold you once?”
How could she possibly refuse the boy smiling with his index finger held up? She’d never thought she’d want to be with a drunk person, but his innocent expression made Liris swallow hard.
“So… just this one time?”
“Yeah. Okay.”
Like an obedient child, he answered, then raised his upper body, sat up, and began unbuttoning his shirt. His hands kept slipping and the progress was slow.
“I’ll do it.”
Liris pushed him down, straddled his stomach, and unbuttoned his shirt. Looking down at his half-open violet eyes, slightly dazed, she felt a strange thrill—an uncommon feeling of being on top, which oddly excited her.
Liris slid her hand into his opened shirt and slowly stroked from his chest to his belly. The firm, hot, muscular, springy sensation of his body felt wonderful.
As she unfastened his belt buckle and lowered his zipper, her heart pounded madly. She had never thought a man’s pubic bone leading from his abs could look so sexy. Pushing aside the bulge in his trousers and finally taking it in her hand, he let out a faint moan.
She understood why he always teased and pushed before the real thing when she saw the expression of being at a loss under her touch.
Holding it in her hand, she slowly leaned down and he startled, sitting up abruptly.
“Wh-what are you! Ugh…”
His reaction sent a dizzying thrill through her. She flicked the rounded tip with her tongue and he groaned. In the study she’d seen vids of people putting this into their mouths… How could anyone take something this thick in and move it?
“Don’t. I don’t like it.”
He said he didn’t like it, which only made her want to do it more. With a low, mischievous chuckle, Liris took him into her mouth.
“Ugh. Liris…”
Ah, theory and practice were truly different. She’d been told to roll it like a candy without letting her teeth touch, but it was much harder than she expected. Still, Liris did her best. His moans warmed her body so much that, though she wasn’t the one being pleasured, she could feel herself getting wet.
She parted her mouth for a moment because her cheeks hurt, and he took that chance to seize her cheek with both hands as if he’d been waiting.
“Stop. Stop it.”
“Why? It feels good, after all.”
“I feel like I’m going to die.”
Liris blinked. He was looking at her with a face that really seemed on the verge of tears.
“Don’t tame me like this.”
She didn’t know why he felt like dying, but Liris found him unbearably cute. She wondered how much he’d had to drink to get like this. It was a tactic she’d like to try occasionally.
“I’ll think about it.”
Liris said primly.
“Tell me how much you love me.”
She wrapped one hand around his neck, took it again with the other, and brought it to her entrance. Kaiston furrowed his brow slightly and continued, “I even gave you my soul stone. Do I have to say it out loud?”
“What’s a soul stone?”
“A wedding ring.”
“…That’s the first I’ve heard of that.”
“Yeah. It was my first time too.”
Kaiston laughed.
“I entrusted you with half of my heart. It’s the stone you get from killing the ‘other me’ you can meet if you enter the forbidden area of Baras Palace.”
Startled, she let go to look at the wedding ring and collapsed back, causing him to thrust fully inside her.
“Ugh…”
She moaned from the sudden stimulation but stared intently at the ring on her left hand.
“You really do love me, right? If you want, you can kill me anytime.”
“Ugh… Why would you give me something so dangerous? What if I’m kidnapped and it’s taken from me!”
“Then you’d die. You expect me to live like an idiot who couldn’t even protect his wife?”
“You’re joking, right? If this ring disappears, I won’t die, will I?”
Kaiston giggled.
“No. You won’t.”
‘Is this man joking?’
Liris glared at him.
“Then… how would one die?”
“Curious?”
When Liris nodded, Kaiston took her left hand in his and kissed the back of it.
“Hate me. Think you want to kill me. Then you can kill me.”
“That’s both hard… and easy.”
“Right?”
Kaiston smiled again.
“Shall I tell you an easier way?”
“What is it?”
“Say you don’t love me anymore. Say I’ve become useless and beg me to die. Then I will die.”
“……”
“That’s how much I love you. Is that an answer now?”
She thought perhaps it would have been better not to hear. His eyes looked a little sad for a man saying that, so she couldn’t be purely happy.
“Tch. What is that.”
Liris hugged his neck tightly and rested her face against him.
“If I say that… you should sweep me up with a bold ‘I can still never let you go!’ kind of love.”
“Will I?”
He chuckled.
“Yes. Please do that. Because…”
Liris tightened her grip around him inside her and continued, “It would never be sincere.”
Kaiston let out a small groan.
“You’re really… getting better and better.”
His reaction gave Liris confidence too.
“Heh heh… Really? Then like this…”
Liris lifted and lowered her hips slightly.
“How about this… ?”
Kaiston, looking pleased, stroked her hair.
“Yeah. I like it.”
Liris enjoyed being able to control the pace herself. Her body had been quite heated during her time of longing. The inside wrapped tightly around him and trembled happily. Satisfaction filled her chest and spread through her whole body.
Kaiston was stunned by her technique of slowly moving her hips and tightening and releasing him. Who would believe she had been a virgin as recently as two months ago?
Each time his fullness scraped her inner walls, Liris moaned and began to move faster. He bent his head, breathing fragrant body scent, and took her heaving breasts into his mouth.
“Mmm…”
Overwhelmed by pleasure, Liris’s head tilted back. Her hazy amber eyes were consumed by the heat. The hand that had supported her back traced slowly down her spine and gently squeezed her plump buttocks.
“Hut…!”
Liris shivered at his touch. Every time he kneaded her buttocks, the presence of the man lodged inside her was felt sharply.
His hand slid up her thigh to the front and gently rubbed her clitoris above the junction. A dizzying sensation ran up her spine. The stimulation grew stronger and Liris’s movements noticeably slowed, so Kaiston began to move for her.
As his thrusts grew fiercer, she suddenly lost control. Just enduring it became overwhelming.
There was a wet grinding sound where they were fully joined.
“Hah… Liris.”
His hot moans, markedly different from usual, heightened her feelings even more.
“Ahh, yes…”
He plunged so deep that her belly tingled. A shiver ran through her and when she tightened her arms around him, he drove harder.
“Ah, no… mmm… stop…”
Her head went foggy and her vision whitened.
“Liris…”
He frowned and squeezed his eyes shut. As Liris reached her peak, he simultaneously came inside her.
He gently stroked Liris’s back as her whole body tensed and trembled.
“Hah… hah…”
Liris panted and leaned against him.
“I… still…”
Liris barely managed to speak.
“I tried… pretty hard, right?”
Kaiston smiled at her proud remark.
“Yeah. You did well.”
He pulled Liris into an embrace and pressed his cheek against hers.
“My lovely Liris.”
His candid, still-drunk openness made Liris burst into giggles.
“Ah, Master. I should get you drunk more often.”
“I told you, not ‘Master.’”
“Alright. Kaiston. Um… it’s a bit long. Can I shorten it?”
“What would you call me?”
“Kai?”
Kaiston nodded.
“My parents used to call me that too. Sometimes, when they were angry, they’d call me worse names.”
“What did they call you?”
“Kitten. Mischievous kitten.”
Liris burst out laughing.
“Oh really… I can just picture your mother’s and father’s faces.”
Kaiston chuckled too.
“You must call my name now. That way you won’t forget who is by your side.”
“I wouldn’t forget. You said you love me.”
“I know. I know. I’m afraid of losing you. I’m afraid I won’t see you again, like with my mother and father.”
Seeing him look slightly gloomy as he said that, Liris shook her head.
“That won’t happen. You’ll be able to see them soon.”
“Really? Do you think so?”
“Of course.”
“Saik is strange. Why doesn’t he go to his father’s side? If it was me, I’d want to be together.”
He seemed utterly unaware of his subordinate’s feelings, which made Liris chuckle.
“Because you are precious to him, of course.”
“Me? Why? What a funny guy.”
Kaiston suddenly sprang up. As their bodies separated, Liris let out a soft sound. While she was numb-legged and struggling to lie back down, he perched on the bed and buttoned his shirt, and Liris, flustered, asked, “W-wher… where are you going?”
“I should go tell Saik he’s a funny guy.”
Liris felt a cold sweat breaking out.
“Don’t go. Come back here.”
Kaiston looked at her for a moment and then obediently settled back into her embrace.
“Liris. I miss my mother and father.”
“Is it because of Marquis Kyril?”
“Yes. That too… but I’ve always wanted to see them. For over ten years, I’ve wanted to.”
Liris stroked his jet-black hair in her arms and said, “They miss you very much too.”
He looked a little surprised by the unexpected news.
“You met my parents?”
“Yes. Actually, I’ve met them quite a few times.”
Kaiston seemed at a loss for what to do.
“Are they… doing well?”
“Yes. They’re doing well.”
“They’re not sick anywhere?”
“They do complain their bones ache like a habit, but…”
Kaiston laughed.
“That’s been the case for a long time.”
“Ah… I see?”
“So they really… are well.”
Liris nodded.
“Yes. They are truly well.”
The unexpected news about his parents was so welcome that Kaiston felt tears welling up.
“Thank you. If you hadn’t come to me, I would have lived without proper news of my parents and eventually only heard of their deaths.”
Feeling sorry for him, Liris patted his broad back.
“When we go to the Isles, let’s go see them together.”
“Yes. Let’s do that.”
He answered with a voice tight with emotion.
