Her body wanted stronger stimulation, but Liris knew well that she shouldn’t. She also knew that Kaiston was restraining himself terribly right now.

‘Still… just a little… I want to touch him a little closer…’

Liris, longing, pressed her body more closely against him.

“Ugh…”

As she joined with him more deeply than intended, Liris gave a small moan. Her belly felt a slight weight.

“Liris…”

Worried, he stopped moving.

“I-I’m fine. This is just right. Ahaha…”

Liris hurriedly reassured him, anxious he might want to stop even now. Sensing her worried fussing, Kaiston snorted and smiled.

“Liris. I’m not stopping.”

“Yes?”

Kaiston lightly pinched and twisted the plump flesh hiding her clitoris.

“Ugh…”

Her body writhed under his lewd stimulation.

“Even if I were worse than you, I’d be a hundred times more fired up. By any means, whatever method, I want you so badly I could die. Do you think I’d stop now?”

His voice, filled with boiling desire, made her breath quicken.

When he began moving again, it was entirely different. He still avoided deep thrusts but rubbed and scraped the inner walls more roughly.

“Huhk, ah, aah…”

Liris felt her mind grow faint. Her tolerance had apparently vanished after an unwilling period of abstinence. Even so, his touch rubbing between her petals remained, and the excessive pleasure felt maddening.

“Ahk, mm, j-just a moment… huff…!”

The delight rising from the inside where he prodded and stimulated began spreading like waves through her body.

“It’s too much now, ugh… Kaiston…”

As Liris whimpered repeatedly, Kaiston let out something like a small sigh, withdrew from her, and laid her down flat. He watched her panting quietly.

“I said I won’t go easy on you…”

His hand wiping the tears from the corners of her eyes was tender, but his gaze was no different from a beast that had caught its prey.

Kaiston grabbed Liris’s ankles, lifted them, and entered at a slightly skewed angle from the front.

“Ugh…!”

Her legs tensed rigidly. The brief rest had not helped; it had led to stronger stimulation. He had lifted her lower body slightly so her belly wouldn’t be pressed, leaving the joining plainly visible in her sight. The obscene sight of something that seemed impossible to pass through the narrow opening moving in and out at will was intensely pornographic.

“Aah… ugh… mmm…”

Unconsciously, she clenched inward, and he faintly frowned each time she did.

“Hah, Liris.”

He toyed with her freely, adjusting speed and force at will. Teetering on a perilous edge, he built a towering pleasure inside her. When her cries reached a peak, he moved shallower and slower to prevent her from climaxing alone.

After repeating that many times, Liris felt she might truly die.

“Ahhh… p-please, stop now…”

Seeing her plead like that, his violet eyes softened.

“Are you sufficiently satisfied?”

Liris nodded vigorously. Tears that had pooled flowed down with her nod. Kaiston’s gaze darkened further. He began to press on without mercy. Amid the slapping sounds and wet noises of their coupling, Liris’s vision turned white; the stimulation was so intense she couldn’t even moan properly.

The piled-up waves of pleasure overflowed in an instant. A tremendous climax washed through her entire body. She arched backwards and trembled violently. With nothing to see or hear, she stayed at the peak of sensation for a long while.

“Haaa…”

It truly felt like she had returned from the brink of death.

He pressed a deep kiss to her panting lips. As if to steal her recovering breath, he sucked her completely between his skewed lips with no gap.

“Mmm, uhp…”

When Liris lightly patted his chest, he finally released his lips and then kissed the tip of her nose.

“You don’t know how beautiful you are right now, do you?”

“Master Kai…”

He gently tidied her hair.

“A mess. Here and there.”

For some reason his voice sounded sticky and lewd.

“I should lick you clean.”

“W-what? Ah, ah, Master Kai…!”

Her slight resistance was completely ignored. He began exploring Liris’s body with his lips without hesitation. She felt it was wrong, but it seemed too late; he showed no sign of stopping.

The main insertion lasted only once, but because he kept biting, sucking, and licking afterward, dawn arrived without them getting any sleep. This must be when one says they were drenched in pleasure.

While her body and mind had become one with the bed and fallen asleep, Kaiston left the palace, and Liris slept until midday without realizing he had left the bedchamber.

At noon, perhaps thinking it wouldn’t do, a maid entered and woke Liris.

“He told me not to wake you… but he’s been waiting far too long…”

“Mm… who…?”

“Duke Crunel has been here since early morning.”

Liris sprang up.

“What?”

He truly had incredible stamina. He’d come half-dead last night, tormented her without sleeping all night, and now he came again in the morning to wait.

“At this point you’d think it’d be a little scary…”

But the heart pounding now wasn’t from fear.

“Hurry and help me get ready.”

Watching the Crown Princess dash to the bath, the maid grew tense and rallied the other attendants of the princess’s quarters. In nearly record time, the Crown Princess completed a perfect transformation and stood elegantly before the parlor door.

“Hah, hah…”

She had to steady her breathing. Her cheeks were still flushed, but as her breath settled, the Crown Princess signaled a maid to open the parlor door.

Unlike yesterday, Kaiston, dressed smartly in a teal suit embroidered with lavish stitching, rose from his seat.

“Crown Princess.”

Liris felt her cheeks flush anew.

“Duke.”

Kaiston strode up to her, took her hand with a graceful motion, and kissed the back of it.

“Did you sleep well last night?”

“Yes, thank you.”

A faint smile formed at Kaiston’s lips. To Liris, who understood its meaning, it felt wickedly intimate.

“Is your body all right?”

Liris blinked and checked how she felt. Thanks to oversleeping, she wasn’t drowsy, nor did her belly ache or feel uncomfortable. While washing she had also noticed her skin felt especially smooth today, perhaps because her desire had been thoroughly satisfied.

“Very well, thank you.”

At Liris’s cheerful answer, he nodded as if relieved.

“Then,”

He extended the hand he had hidden behind his back. In it was a bouquet of fully bloomed marigolds.

“Will you accompany me today?”

This classic date proposal tugged at her heart so much that Liris took the bright yellow bouquet and smiled radiantly.

“With pleasure, Duke.”

Kaiston followed the date course planned by Commander General Luther to the letter, but unsure whether Liris enjoyed it, he checked her expression now and then. Each time, she smiled brightly at him, and only then could Kaiston feel at ease.

“I didn’t know there were so many beautiful places on the continent.”

After touring the gallery where landscape paintings were displayed, they entered a dessert shop famous for ice-cream waffles, and Kaiston spoke in a slightly excited voice. Having only ever been to the ruined Baras kingdom’s capital Yodam, and Sinal where he’d lived for the past thirteen years, he found his heart fluttering at each breathtaking landscape painting.

“I really hope to visit them together someday.”

Liris, who had been staring at Kaiston as he spoke, cheeks slightly flushed, snapped back to herself.

“Yes. We’ll definitely go together.”

‘My goodness.’

The way he smiled brightly at her answer made him seem like a different person. She’d thought his sole hobby was training in martial arts, but perhaps he had simply had nothing else to do, which is why he’d lived that way.

He cut a bite-sized piece of waffle, piled it high with ice cream, and fed it to her; his violet eyes shimmered with happiness.

“The Crown Princess was right. Compared to Darkan, the Red Moon is really barren.”

He felt sorry to her now for having once asked them to live together in such a place. When he first came to the Isles thirteen years ago, he had been brought as a prisoner and couldn’t properly see the flourishing, cultured scenes of major cities.

Even if she wanted to say the Red Moon had its own merits, she couldn’t easily find them, so Liris wracked her brains for a long time.

“Ah! Still, I first saw monsters and demons in the Red Moon.”

Kaiston, pondering the meaning of what she had just said, nodded.

“It’s an important stronghold. If the Red Moon falls, monsters would rampage anywhere across that vast Sinal. You’ve worked hard for a year, Crown Princess.”

“Ugh. I didn’t really do much.”

“That’s not true. You were a great help.”

Kaiston took her small hand under the table. He was deeply grateful that she had come to meet him in that harsh place and had shared the Red Moon’s four seasons with him.

“The knights of the Red Moon will never forget the time the Crown Princess spent with them.”

“I too will not forget those who strive to protect the people of the Empire.”

Whatever her original reasons for going to the Red Moon, and even if her current purpose there was not solely to protect the people, without the roughly four hundred knights defending that place, neither Sinal nor the rest of the Empire would likely be so safe from monsters.
