By the time Liris had finished the cinnamon-scented apple pie and the tart limeade with nothing left, Kaiston emerged from the bathroom.

He quietly watched Liris sitting with a neatly emptied dessert plate and a happy face.

It was the brightest face from her he’d seen so far.

“For a woman…”

He stepped up to her and bowed his waist.

“It seems things like these are needed as well.”

He used his thumb to remove a pie crumb stuck to her lips.

Her cheek flushed a little.

“Was it good?”

“Yes, Master.”

He lightly kissed the smiling woman.

“It is sweet indeed.”

Though he’d never told anyone, he too liked sweet things.

When he was crown prince in the old kingdom, after the day’s hard duties, his mother would give him candies or chocolates.

“Master…”

His hand stroked her cheek and his lips descended on hers again.

Feeling his violet eyes grow heated, Liris removed the thin gown she was wearing by herself.

He had to admit he had been waiting for this moment all day.

The woman, who had gotten through the fearful first night and no longer trembled much, greatly pleased him.

He even liked her rounded belly, as if she had never been thin.

Of course, seeing her belly, she seemed embarrassed and unsure what to do.

Kaiston laid Liris on the bed and kissed her again.

It was sweet, perhaps because of the lingering taste of chocolate.

But it was a kind of sweetness he’d never tasted before.

While softly savoring her lips and mouth, he delicately stimulated the sensitive spots of the woman he’d identified yesterday.

He could clearly feel her breath growing hot as her body gradually warmed.

His hand, enjoying her body, finally moved toward her hidden pearl.

His touch softly rubbed the tightly hidden pearl, and her inside began to moisten little by little.

Slowly, sliding, his hand traveled up and down in strokes.

At the entrance he had found, his middle finger began to sink in little by little.

Her inner walls, startled and tightly clenched in instinct, resisted the intrusion and gripped his finger fiercely.

Despite there being no sign of loosening, he gently probed and looked down at her face intently.

Wanting to see the gem-like eyes hidden beneath her tightly shut lids, he commanded, “Open your eyes and look at me.”

Her eyes reluctantly opened a little, and they were moist.

“Does it hurt?”

She shook her head at his question.

“Then relax a little.”

Feeling the pressure ease slightly, he pushed his finger deeper inside her.

“You obey well.”

“Ugh…!”

Thanks to the slow, cautious movements, her insides began to adapt, fluids flowing and making the back-and-forth easier.

He didn’t take his eyes off her clouded amber pupils as he stirred inside her with his finger.

“You’re struggling over only this little?”

His low voice was intensely arousing.

Liris’s lips parted unconsciously.

Feeling a nameless thirst, he pushed another finger in.

When he felt her body twitch at a certain point, he stimulated that spot more.

At the same time he gently rubbed her clitoris with his thumb.

As he scraped the inner walls and increased his speed, the slick sounds rang vividly in the quiet room.

“Hng… Master…”

Her knuckles whitened as she gripped his collar tightly.

Without any drugs, an unbearable pleasure rose from her lower belly.

No matter how she tried to hold it down, it swelled until it spread through her whole body and burst in white heat.

At her wide-open amber eyes, her tensing body, and the wildly pulsing sensations inside, he slowly withdrew his hand.

This face. This expression. He couldn’t focus all day because he had wanted to see her so disheveled.

“Liris.”

Hearing her name fall from his lips sounded so good that she blinked slowly once or twice.

“Yes… Master…”

“Do you like your master?”

She looked up blankly at Kaiston as he said that.

His violet eyes shimmered calmly, fixed on her.

Why ask such a thing? Shouldn’t she be the one to ask that?

But his gaze so desperately demanded an answer.

Liris, without realizing it, answered in a small voice.

“Yes, Master.”

He faintly lifted the corner of his mouth.

It was a sudden moment where his eyes startled Liris.

In that moment she realized her master had ‘truly’ smiled.

“That’s a relief.”

He shed his nightshirt and settled himself between her legs.

“Will it be alright?”

He hadn’t brought any potion, so he asked while gently kneading the inside of her thigh.

She smiled lovingly, her amber eyes gleaming.

“Yes. It’s fine, Master.”

Only after hearing her answer did he cautiously align himself and place his member at the wet spring’s entrance.

His appendage, which had never hidden its greed, scraped her inner walls as it entered.

“Hng…!”

She let out a near-scream at his movement that drove him all the way to the root in one motion.

Something heavy and blunt repeated its travel, stirring everything inside.

Fortunately, his careful prior touches had had an effect.

Gradually getting used to his body, her stiff form began to relax.

Pleasure, not pain, rolled over her like a wave.

She didn’t have particular technique for taking a man, yet he was satisfied simply by thrusting into her.

Each time he marked himself into her, her heated expression looked unrealistically beautiful, and the woman’s naked body pressed beneath him was so soft and warm.

“Ah… Master…”

As she wrapped her arms around his neck and let out a pleasure-filled moan, the cold hardness within him kept melting.

“Liris.”

Clenching his teeth and trying to endure, he nonetheless crumbled helplessly under this warmth.

In just two days, he felt something that had been lacking for over ten years being fulfilled.

‘Damn that bastard the Emperor.’

Whatever he intended to take through this woman, Kaiston didn’t know.

As his body increased speed and struck her deepest place, her waist bent limply and her insides contracted sharply.

“Hah…!”

Pushing his seed, the thick ejaculation, roughly into her belly, he hugged her body which was trembling with the peak of pleasure.

He pressed his lips to her pale, slender nape and muttered toward that sly bastard the Emperor.

“Fine. Do whatever you want. After all, what do I have left?”

His violet eyes fell, filled with resignation.

No matter how much he guarded himself, or even if he didn’t.

He knew full well that everything would be greedily taken by that voracious Emperor.

Viscount Newman, for some reason, packed no fewer than four magic pouches, each big enough to fit two wagons’ worth, and Kaiston, too lazy to inspect them all, accepted them and headed for the Red Moon.

As soon as they set the horses to a trot and Liris flinched, Kaiston, unable to bear it, drew his legs together and had her sit between them.

He held her body firmly with his arms to steady her and rode slowly.

What would have taken two hours ended up taking four, but he didn’t mind.

He liked the woman clinging to him as if cradled in his arms, and the long time didn’t feel boring at all.

“Liris.”

“Yes?”

“What kind of power is it that you possess?”

He asked as he lightly squeezed the bracelet on her wrist.

She was a little flustered because she hadn’t expected him to ask about it so soon.

Noticing her reaction, he continued, “The fortress is more dangerous than it seems. Sometimes monsters like Wyverns stage air raids. There have been multiple occasions where they’ve snatched people from inside the fortress. If the power you have can help protect yourself, I’m willing to free you.”

“What will you do if I… run away?”

He shrugged at her question.

“Better to run than to die helplessly because you couldn’t use your power.”

“……”

“You know teleportation doesn’t work inside the fortress, right? If you’re going to escape, go outside the fortress and then use magic.”

“…I won’t run. I don’t have that ability anyway.”

Kaiston chuckled softly as he watched her answer a little sullenly.

“One year. Just hold out for about that long.”

“One year?”

Liris asked, puzzled by the specific timeframe he mentioned.

“It’s tolerable for about four seasons. After that, you won’t want to stay. A woman can’t stay there long. If you can endure just one year… I’ll at least send you to Korum.”

Liris looked up at his face for a long moment.

“Master, I’m your slave. I should stay by your side.”

He looked down at her for a moment but gave no answer.

At the Red Moon, he neither stopped those who came nor those who wished to leave.

Because the pay was so high, many knights and servants applied, but the fortress was not an easy place.

When he was young he’d tried to stop those leaving and gotten his heart broken, but he no longer did that.

Instead, he refrained from giving undue affection and steeled himself to be ready to let people go at any time.

But could that really be possible with a woman he slept with?

She too would very likely come to hate this place after staying in it for a while.

She might suffer, grow depressed, and slowly wither.

If that happened, and she became impossible to keep, would he be alright?

“Liris.”

“Yes?”

She quietly looked up at him, curious about what he would say.

“If you need anything, you can say so anytime. I’ll provide some conveniences for you, to help you adapt to the Red Moon.”

Taken aback by the unexpected words, she was a little stunned.

The low voice whispering right by her ear was strangely gentle and pleasant to hear.

“Anyway, right now, you belong to me.”

“Yes, Master.”

Liris answered with a smile.

“I’ll do that.”

Her amber eyes took in the fortress visible in the distance.

She couldn’t guarantee she’d grow to like the place that would be her home, but she thought it wouldn’t be hard to come to like the master who cradled her body as if it were a treasure.

He seemed extremely masculine and rough, yet she found herself growing fond of him and drawn to him.

His clumsy words and actions made her smile for some reason.
