After lunch, we wait in the drawing room for Prince Keith to arrive. Honestly, it’s pretty awkward. Samuel looks bored, too.
“Um, Aunt Liliana, would it be all right if I practiced the songs we’re using today on the Hanon?”
Aunt Liliana’s eyebrows go up.
“My goodness, Patience, you haven’t practiced yet? Being so unprepared simply won’t do. Go practice upstairs.”
Samuel wanted to come along, too, but Aunt Liliana stopped him. Apparently, he has to be there to greet Prince Keith when he arrives. I figured waiting upstairs would be the same, but I didn’t say that out loud....
