Robin was wearing a disgruntled expression once again.

In his mansion within the royal capital, a subordinate knelt at his feet while Robin lounged.

“So, you’re saying Liliane failed to assassinate Nazelbert, and those idiots Kigyonne and Apo have been captured?”

“Yes. The frontier is now completely under Nazelbert’s control.”

Robin crushed a “Viola Berry Pie” served on a plate with his fist and glared at his subordinate. Purple cream smeared thickly across the back of his hand.

“Good grief, every last one of them is useless!”

“Lord Robin, is there really a need to concern yourself with Nazelbert anymore now that he’s been exiled to the frontier? In a backwater place like that, he must have his hands full just defending his own territory.”

“Shut up, it’s the fact that he’s doing well that pisses me off. Especially when I’m such a hard worker!”

Robin had fled from his rigorous Prince Consort education early on.

Even if he gained a bit of wisdom, the Queen was the one who currently held the real power.

Even if he were to seize power eventually, he felt he didn’t need the education. He could just leave the tedious work to his subordinates and slump back on the throne.

After all, he was the father of the next King!

“That bastard Nazelbert, he had the nerve to condemn my allies without mercy… Oh, I know.”

Having hit upon a brilliant idea, Robin licked the cream off his hand and grinned.

“Then shouldn’t I just send someone he’ll have a hard time condemning? I know the perfect person for the job~.”

The subordinate listened to Robin’s plan with a skeptical look, but eventually nodded and moved to carry out the orders.

“I’m such a genius, woo-hoo! Some weird group calling themselves the Second Prince Faction has appeared in the capital too, so let’s just clean them all up at once~!”

Satisfied with his own orders, Robin began preparing to head to the castle.

Princess Mia’s belly was growing larger by the day, and the date of birth was drawing near.

‘I should probably go pay my respects soon.’

Until quite recently, Robin had been cheating and hitting on various young ladies… but the other day, the Princess had found out. It resulted in an incident where every single one of those girls was sent off to a convent.

The situation with Liliane had also happened because the Princess found out about his cheating, though her parents throwing her out like that was a rather extreme case.

‘Geez, come on~. The atmosphere makes it so hard to lay a hand on girls for a while~.’

Robin thought to himself that being a Prince Consort wasn’t easy.

“Dammit! Piece of garbage…!”

The head of the Eventail family, Michael Eventail, slammed his hand against the table with all his might.

Ever since he participated in a gathering of the Second Prince Faction, he had been banned from all formal events and had become isolated in social circles.

“Dear, please calm down.”

His wife, Samantha, tried to stop him, but he shook her off and shouted.

“Shut up! Don’t give orders to the head of the house! This is all because of that cursed Agnes and that criminal bastard!”

“Such foul language.”

“Silence!”

Michael slammed the table again, causing Samantha and the servants to jump in fright.

Lately, Michael had taken to venting his rage on physical objects.

Previously, he would find something to complain about and hit Agnes, but since he had disowned her, she was gone from the house.

A single small shadow watched the rampaging father and the screaming mother from the darkness.

Paul, the heir to the Eventail family, simply held his breath and waited for the storm to pass.
