“Mwaa, mwaa.”
Her tail swished gently, ears soft and pliant—Ma Hana displayed the same cuteness as always.
But below the neck, her body was, quite literally, violent.
“Uh, um, Meowi?”
“Mwaaa. I-I’m the, the noona… noona kitty… big-boom kitty… Seha is a cute and lovable younger man. I’ll take the lead…”
“Excuse me, Meowi? I think you just made a very strange sound.”
“Mweaa, I am… noona!”
Ma Hana didn’t budge an inch atop Yu Seha. Yu Seha groped her chest—so large he couldn’t hold it with one hand.
“M, mwa… th-this is my mamma-contact!”
“Meowi! You can’t say things like that!”
Ju Na-young and Moon Bora’s breasts were taut and overwhelmingly large enough to be lightly slapped—literally two watermelons. A cinched waist and curved hips completed a graceful silhouette, and faint abs hinted at health.
Without a doubt, it was the ‘noona’ body Past Ma Hana had longed for. For a moment a memory flashed: the second trial Choi Mari, the bunny girl, had given in the Tower of Oracle.
It was brief but unmistakable.
‘Another future form where my desires are realized!’
Ma Hana, in the ‘adult magazine—Today’s S-Rank Hunter’ big-boom mode she’d imagined, even walked like a model back then.
‘Mw, mwa—could that have been a foreshadowing!?’
Ma Hana was surprised in many ways. She grabbed Yu Seha’s arms with a bright smile and, with a playful tug, pulled him up and placed him atop her chest.
Poing-!
Yu Seha screamed.
“U-uaaah! Meowi, Meowi—what are you doing!”
“Seha! I grew! Do you like it? I like it, but if our Seha hates it, then it’s meaningless…”
“You look good in any form. B-but more than that, p-please get down!”
“M, mwa!? Am I, am I heavy?”
“N-no, it’s not that…”
You’re naked right now!!!
A little later, in the corner.
Yu Seha squeezed his eyes shut and rested his head against the wall while Ma Hana glanced at him occasionally.
At the moment Ma Hana wore an oversized dress shirt—the largest piece of clothing Yu Seha owned. The sleeves and shoulders hung loose, but her chest was so full the buttoned front looked ready to burst.
“Mwaa…”
Of course, Ma Hana had packed spare clothes. The problem was none of them fit the current Ma Hana.
“M, mwa, mwaaa…”
She kept examining her new body—the exact opposite of the one she’d maintained for nearly twenty years—unable to stop feeling wonder and joy.
Han Ara watched her daughter with a smile. She’d had just as many questions when she first took the inheritor form, so she understood Ma Hana’s feelings.
Han Ara approached slowly and spoke softly to her daughter.
“Hana~”
“M, mwa! M-mom… huh? Where’s Dad?”
Han Ara smiled and pointed behind them.
“Mwa?”
When Ma Hana turned, beside the embarrassed Yu Seha sat Ma Tae-han, equally shy.
No matter how biological a daughter is, these matters require teaching between women. Fortunately, Han Ara could provide great help to Ma Hana.
“Hana, that form right now is the inheritor form.”
“M, mwa? Inheritor form?”
“Yes. Like my daughter, the way the abilities manifest is similar.”
The original body and the strongest state: the full beast form. The body’s growth and balance, and the inheritor form focused on producing excellent offspring. Finally, the basic form: just a cute, lovable furball.
Han Ara spent about thirty minutes teaching her daughter the tricks. Though absurdly short to master anything, she taught remarkably well, engraving into Ma Hana the secret of handling the Demonic Nature Beast.
“Focus and control it.”
“Mwaa…”
Ma Hana exhaled and trembled as her body lightened. She shrank as if air had escaped; unpleasantly, her chest deflated first with a soft ‘pshh~’, and her long hair shortened to a bob.
“M, mwa, it’s back. It shrank…”
“From now on, if you practice steadily you can maintain the inheritor and beast forms anytime.”
“M, mwa… can’t you teach me more? More, more, please!”
“……”
Ma Hana stubbornly insisted, unlike her usual self—a puerile display of whining Han Ara had never seen from her. Han Ara looked at her daughter with sad eyes.
Ma Hana instinctively felt it: their time before parting was short, and the strength that bound the two was slowly fading.
“Ah, there are still so many things I want to learn. O-oh right, I read in a book that Mom is good at cooking? I’m practicing but I don’t know well.”
“…Hana.”
“Oh, I want to dress nicely too. My friends teach me, but body types are different… um, if it’s Mom, you can do it well—”
“-Hana.”
“……”
Drip.
Beads of tears tracked down Ma Hana’s face, drop by drop—a notice of parting. Looking at her father who had already come, she realized it was happening now.
Since she had perfectly passed on the [Demonic Nature Beast], there was no longer any need to maintain the seal. The laws inscribed upon this
Their souls had been divided by the [soul technique], so although they’d been bound for years, it was natural the dissolution would proceed quickly.
“…Meowi, with this our roles are all finished.”
“…Mr. Tae-han, you worked hard. And I’m really sorry.”
“Why the sudden words… our Meowi grew up so well, that’s enough, dear.”
“…You.”
They smiled at each other and prepared to part. Ma Hana watched and cried like a broken faucet; she couldn’t stop.
She knew the love the two had given, and how great their sacrifice had been. Now that everything here was finally over, the tragedy had ended—but the speed of parting made her all the more bitter.
Ma Hana said softly.
“I’m sorry. Mom, Dad.”
“…Hana.”
“…Meowi.”
The sea of tears lasted only a moment. Bit by bit, their spirit sizes clearly shrank. Ma Hana pulled herself together. There wasn’t much time. She mustn’t have regrets.
‘I can’t end the last moment of parting with my parents with a crying face…!’
She forced a smile and spoke words to reassure them.
“I-I will definitely… definitely be happy!”
I will, like the two of you, become the parent of a precious child… become a mother… give far more love than I received.
“Absolutely, absolutely……”
In the end she couldn’t stop speaking. No—how could she possibly hold back?
Ma Tae-han and Han Ara looked at their daughter with pity. Ma Tae-han swallowed and turned his head toward Yu Seha.
Although brief, he had to tell his son-in-law—the one who would spend his daughter’s life with her and make her happy—Please, protect our whole Meowi…
“Yu Seha.”
“……”
Yu Seha scratched his cheek with an embarrassed look, hesitating at the timing.
Was Ma Tae-han’s thought correct? He let out a large, awkward cough and gathered the three gazes.
“Ahem!”
“…M, mwa? Seha?”
“Uh, um. I-I’m sorry for saying this so late, but could I try an experiment right now?”
“…Experiment?”
“Yes, um…probably with a fairly high chance…”
It seems I found a way for both of you to be safe.
Ten minutes earlier, Yu Seha had watched Han Ara and Ma Tae-han’s farewells and thought deeply.
The reason the two were disappearing was that, having completed their roles, the rule that the departed naturally return to the afterlife applied.
‘…Then couldn’t I just apply a stronger rule?’
Yu Seha currently possessed two powers: [Complete Devour] and [Contractor of All Things]. Both were absurd abilities capable of bending the laws of the human world.
He asked the two transcendents—the Yokai King and the Tyrant—and both answered it was possible.
After explaining everything, Yu Seha looked at what he held: two bluish specks of powder. Each was a fragment of Ma Tae-han and Han Ara’s souls.
He activated [Contractor of All Things] and consumed them.
‘I have the knack down.’
Though some time had passed, he’d once absorbed the soul of the Deathly Four-Beast Kirin and added an extra effect to [Thunderous Striking Lightning]. That experience carried aspects similar to [Contractor of All Things].
‘I’ll apply the recent experience of appointing Meowi as a subordinate…’
Bling-!
Soon, a vivid red
“…My goodness!”
“Oh my, wha—?”
Because they were dead, the original
Yu Seha clenched his fist.
‘Done!’
It worked. Success.
A little later Yu Seha held two fist-sized gems—one green, one red—each forming a cube. Their shape was familiar.
‘Soul Stone.’
Within a structure like the one used to invoke the Demon King in the temple, Ma Tae-han and Han Ara’s souls were contained. This was probably the method of creating <Soul Stone>.
‘In other words, only a transcendent could attempt this…’
Until now, besides the Demon King, no one could make this. Well, that didn’t really matter.
Yu Seha carefully handed the two stones to Ma Hana, whose face was swollen from crying.
“Se, Seha… this, this is really… huh?”
“Yes. Both of them are here.”
They fell into a deep sleep during the transformation into <Soul Stones>, but they’ll wake in a few months.
“In this state they can remain as spirits. Later I’ll find or craft bodies they can inhabit. There’ll be some trial and error, but they can live together—”
“-MWAAAANG!!!”
Ma Hana cut him off mid-sentence and hurled herself into Yu Seha’s arms, sobbing.
“Seha, thank you. Really, thank you…”
Relief flooded her—Yu Seha was here now, and the transcendent power he possessed felt literally godlike to Ma Hana.
“I really thank you…”
Yu Seha smiled faintly and hugged her back, thinking it fortunate.
‘I’m this strong…’
That he was absurdly able to overturn reason filled him with quiet satisfaction; he was a transcendent for the first time in his life.
That evening, in front of a stack of firewood he’d chopped himself, Yu Seha and Ma Hana sat glued together like leeches, staring into the fire. They leaned on each other’s shoulders and didn’t part an inch.
A couple that would make anyone smile at a glance, Ma Hana poked Yu Seha affectionately now and then. They had planned to return immediately but decided to stay another day.
Kugugu-!
“Mwaa…”
“Now it’s collapsing.”
A short distance away, the Artificial Trial vomited clouds of dust. One by one it crumbled steadily and began returning to its natural form.
Ma Hana watched the collapsing
“…Thank you.”
For preventing all the misfortunes, and for taking away even the Demon King’s shackles that might have passed to her future child, Ma Hana vowed never to forget her gratitude.
A small but pleasant mealtime later, full from her meal, Ma Hana murmured ‘mwang~’ and naturally leaned her head on Yu Seha’s shoulder. Yu Seha smiled and stroked her forehead.
“…Seha.”
“Yes?”
“Mwang, meo-Demon King! I’m the Demon King’s granddaughter.”
“Yes.”
“Even if they escaped the shackles, my children will probably show the Demon King’s traits in many ways.”
“Yes, they’ll be incredibly adorable and cute like Meowi.”
“…Can I stay by your side?”
“Wrong.”
“Mwa?”
“You must stay for life.”
It had never been in doubt.
“Whether our Meowi is a Demon King, a god, an alien, or even an extraterrestrial being…” he smiled, “she’s simply a precious, warm ball of fur…”
“……”
“Seha?”
“…She is the one I love.”
“Mwang!”
Ma Hana flinched and turned her head in a flash at the clear confession she was hearing for the first time.
Yu Seha’s face flushed crimson and his lips trembled, making him unbearably adorable. Ma Hana felt a maddening thirst.
“…Seha, could you look this way?”
“……”
They met each other’s gaze and, without either starting first, slowly closed the distance.
Smooch.
Not a one-sided motion but a kiss both could give because both were sincere. Their tongues shyly intertwined in a genuine, adult kiss—the kind lovers and spouses share.
“Meowi…”
“Mwa?”
“I love you.”
“…Yes, me too…”
The flames of the firewood, the jade glow of late-night fireflies, and the chirping of crickets harmonized into a nocturnal scene like a painting.
Yu Seha and Ma Hana confirmed each other’s feelings and shared a deep, abiding kiss.
