I, Seyi Falt, had come to Kai-Pagos, the Land of Ice, but…

“…We cannot proceed because of the heavy snow.”

Zenith-chan, the elf slave, stated the sight before us, and the problem, in concise terms.

The snow had been falling with incredible force for a while now.

Because of the piled-up snow, we could not move forward at all. How was the snow already above our knees?

“Wouldn’t it be fine if Master dealt with this snowfall using a potion? Without using a robot, I mean.”

The robot maid Cherge was still sulking. She was really starting to irritate me.

“Well, I do have a potion that stops snow.”

“You do!?” Cherge retorted.

“Even if I make it, I’d like to do that in a slightly calmer environment. The temperature control is delicate.”

And so, the potion to stop the snow would have to wait.

“For now, in order to move forward… Everyone, help me.”

I handed potion bottles to the slave girls.

“Mm? Master-dono, what is this?”

“This is a Snow Removal Potion. Please apply it to Chi-chan’s feet and the carriage wheels.”

The slave girls obediently followed my order.

“Achoo! It’s cold… Seyi-sama…”

“Hey, Errand Girl Number Two. Why are you slacking off?”

Errand Girl Number Two, also known as the evil dragon god Vivre. This woman was supposed to be another one of our traveling companions, yet she was doing nothing.

“Well, I’m weak against the cold, or rather, I’m a reptile, so I can’t handle cold weather…”

“Guilty.”

“Aaaangyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!”

I shoved snow into Vivre’s clothes.

“What are you doing!?”

“Don’t slack off, errand girl.”

“Waaah. You’re kind to the slave girls, but cold to your errand girls…”

Of course I was. The slave girls were my precious companions.

The errand girls and the robot were my subordinates.

After a short while, we finished applying the potion.

“Thanks, everyone. Now, get in, get in.”

We got into the carriage. Naturally, the wheels and the feet of Chi-chan, the earth dragon, were buried deep in the snow.

“Chi-chan, go!”

“Gwaa!”

Chi-chan started running. Then… the huge amount of snow in front of us melted and vanished all at once.

“Amazing it is! The snow is melting it is!”

“This is the Snow Removal Potion. When applied, it generates heat and creates a barrier that melts snow.”

“Ooh! Amazing! As expected of you, Master-dono!”

Wahaha! Being praised by the slave girls put me in a good mood.

“Now then, let’s go!”
