I, Seyi Falt, came to the southern country for a vacation.
But… because a dungeon appeared in the royal capital, the country was in serious trouble.
Having personally received a request from this nation’s prince to clear the dungeon, I arrived at the capital.
This was the royal capital, Tuyah.
“It’s hooot…”
A blazing hell stretched out before us.
Far beyond simple humidity.
At this rate… wouldn’t your skin burn just walking normally…?
Maybe that’s why everyone wore long sleeves. Looks hot.
“Uuuh…”
“….”
Daphne-chan and Sui-chan looked like they were dying.
This… was bad!
“Robo-maid! Magic potions!”
“You only work hard when your beloved slaves are in danger. Over.”
“Obviously. Hurry up!”
I took two magic potions from the robo-maid’s storage.
When I poured mana into the magic tool, a cube formed in midair.
Alchemy Workshop.
A small workshop where potion crafting was possible.
I placed the two potions inside.
Then I made a new bottle using Fluid Crystal.
I fused the two potions and poured the new medicine into the bottle.
“Done. Toka-chan! Throw this straight up! As high as you can!”
“Understood!”
Toka-chan grabbed the bottle and hurled it overhead.
Without my instruction, the robo-maid shot and shattered it.
The contents scattered—
Whoosh…! A silver wind blew.
“Huh? The heat… got weaker!”
“…!”
Smiles returned to Daphne-chan and the others.
Thank goodness…
“Big sister, did you do something?”
“Yeah. I combined potions to make a cooling wind.”
“…That’s possible?”
I explained to Zenith-chan.
“I combined a Freeze Prison Potion and a Kite Potion to create an icy wind barrier.”
The Freeze Prison Potion alone was too strong.
So I neutralized it with the Kite Potion and spread a long-lasting wide-area effect.
“…Amazing, you adjusted the effects by combining medicines.”
“Exactly. Potions aren’t meant to be used alone—combining them is the real way. Alone they’re too strong.”
The prince grabbed my hand with sparkling eyes.
“H-Hey, what…?”
“Amazing! You improved the capital’s crisis instantly!”
“Yeah yeah, no need to thank me. I just couldn’t watch Daphne-chan suffer.”
Honestly this prince gets way too close. Always grabbing hands and leaning in.
Isn’t that rude?
Do all royals lack personal space?
I wish they’d fix that.
“Master, tsundere? Over.”
“Just uncomfortable. Step back.”
“Ah, s-sorry…”
Brockes-san stepped away.
He should keep proper distance.
“The barrier is temporary. I’ll clear the dungeon while it lasts.”
“Please, Seyi-dono…”
“Alright. Cooperate.”
After that, we were guided to the palace.
It was a magnificent white building.
Unlike Gata-Niiga’s castle, it spread horizontally rather than vertically.
We were led into a guest room.
“Now, preparations. Prince, I need some things.”
“Anything! I will prepare them at once!”
“Good. Cherge, paper and pen please.”
I got a notepad and wrote a shopping list.
“That should do. Here Prince—wait, what?”
Instead of the paper, he stared at my pen.
“Um… Seyi-dono. That pen… it wasn’t dipped in ink.”
“Hm? Oh this. A magic pen. It absorbs mana and produces infinite ink.”
“Infinite ink!? Then you never need an ink pot!?”
“? Right.”
“Amazing… I’ve never seen such a pen! Water magic creating ink… incredible!”
He grabbed my hand and leaned close again.
How rude.
“…!”
Sui-chan stretched her hands and blasted him with water.
He flew into the wall.
“Don’t get close to Sister Seyi!”
“Well done, Sui.”
“…!” proud!
The slave girls and spirit formed a barrier in front of me.
“…Please do not approach Seyi-sama so casually.”
“S-Sorry… I couldn’t help it…”
“Weren’t you asked to run errands? Please go. You are in the way.”
“Ah… excuse me…”
The prince retreated awkwardly.
The girls snorted proudly.
“I will drive away bad bugs.”
“Yes!”
“…!”
“Um… thanks?”
“Master. So popular. I’m jealous. Over.”
You don’t look jealous at all.
