The next day. As promised, when we arrived at the Adventurers’ Guild, Ivas and Weather were in front of the bulletin board.

Ivas and Weather immediately accepted the quest, and we left the town with them, heading for the northern forest.

A wolf tried to bite Ivas, but the attack missed. Ivas had already moved to the wolf’s flank and swung his sword.

He slashed its side and took down one wolf. As the two remaining wolves turned their attention to Ivas, Weather charged at them.

His movements felt heavier than they looked. Then he slammed the sword he was holding down.

The wolf’s body was effortlessly split in two.

…Beastfolk are often stronger than humans, and Weather was probably no exception.

Ivas is speed, and Weather is power.

Ivas draws the enemy in while Weather finishes them off. That was likely the basic tactic of the two.
