“I can see it——absolutely everything,” Stella muttered solemnly beside me.

“What is this sensation——?!” Rearvelt let out a bewildered cry.

“Lord Fried!”

“Understood!”

Taking her voice as the signal, I unleashed a magical energy bullet.

“Gah…?!”

It pierced straight through the “Rejection” of Rearvelt’s Aura, dealing him damage. For the first time, he took a hit.

“For a mere filthy demon to do this to me, who holds the Power of God——” Rearvelt retreated, groaning with deep resentment.

“Be it a god or a hero, no one shall block Demon King-sama’s path. I shall eliminate absolutely everything that harms this man!” Stella cried out resolutely.

Across her forehead, the crimson eye harboring the bird emblem snapped wide open.

“Lord Fried, I will see through the timing of his next ‘rest.’ Please aim for it!”

“Understood, Stella——”

I concentrated every single shred of my demonic energy.

“Do you intend to calculate the interval when my Aura weakens? But it is futile. The power of magic cannot reach the Power of God. Furthermore, I can shift that timing as much as I want at my own whim!”

“The one acting in futility is you. Whether it is the Power of God or an effect that rejects magic, I will read through it entirely,” Stella declared. “The future, causality, and even fate itself—I shall perceive absolutely everything. That is my Apocalypse Eye.”

A crimson brilliance overflowed from her third eye. The radiance transformed into countless threads of light, spinning outward like a giant spiderweb.

“Nonsense… I am telling you that no matter what you attempt, it is futile——!”

Rearvelt leveled his hammer and charged. Converting the rainbow-colored aura enveloping his entire body into propulsion force, he accelerated further. He was faster than ever before——!

I readied the sword of void to intercept him.

Three more seconds——attack simultaneously with my signal.

Stella’s voice echoed directly inside my head. Since I still had her hair wrapped around my fingers, she must have conveyed it to me via telepathy.

Rearvelt closed in.

Two more seconds—— Stella’s voice echoed once more.

One more second——

Entrusting absolutely everything to her eye, I took my stance.

“Lord Fried!”

“Haaaaaaaah!”

With a burst of spirit, I thrust my sword straight out.

“Futile! My Aura cuts off any and all magical attacks——”

The aura enveloping the triumphant Rearvelt flickered for a fraction of a second. Simultaneously, the tip of the sword of void blew that aura to pieces, plunging deep into his flank.

“Gah?!” Rearvelt leaped backward with a cry of agony.

“Why… can you see through the interval with such precise accuracy…?!”

The attack had gotten through even deeper than before. Stella was pinpointing the exact moment his Aura weakened. In that case, I simply had to believe in her and drive in a strike with my entire being.

“It ends with the next one.” I raised the pitch-black magical sword.

“I shall not retreat… Believing in the Power of God, I have only to move forward.”

Was that Rearvelt’s pride as a hero? If he believed in God, then I believed in the demons—my comrades. I believed in Stella. And I would shatter him——along with that very pride of his.

“Here I come.”

“Come.”

Exchanging brief words, we moved at the exact same instant.

Lord Fried—— Stella spoke to me via telepathy once more.

The opening move is a charge mixed with three feints: right, left, right. From there, he steps in for a full-power downward strike. However, that too is a feint. He will temporarily take a backstep to unleash a shockwave, then charge again to follow it up. Four feints in total. He will circle to your flank and deliver the true, decisive blow. At that exact instant, the Power of God will slacken slightly.

She read through every single one of Rearvelt’s attack patterns and relayed them to me.

Immediately after, the hero wrapped in the rainbow brilliance lunged in. He was far, far faster than just moments ago. Without a shred of hesitation, unboundedly fast——.

“Shatter to pieces! And then, vanish into nothingness, Demon King!”

Approaching with a complex weave of feints, Rearvelt swung the rainbow-glowing hammer down from my flank.

Everything was exactly as Stella had read. It was precisely as she had anticipated, seeing through the very future.

Therefore, I—

“Sorry, Rearvelt——the one vanishing is you.”

A fraction of a second faster than that hammer, I unleashed the final blow.

“Convergent Form • Vanity Blade!”

The blade of void wove through the gap in the divine aura——cleaving Rearvelt clean in two.
