“Ow…!”

Feeling a sharp pain in her index finger, Cordelia quickly pulled her hand back. A small line of blood had welled up on the pad of her pale finger.

“Ugh… I’m grateful for high-quality paper, but no matter how many times it happens, cutting my finger is unpleasant…”

Cordelia was holding a sample letter she had requested from the Kentonis Company. The thick paper had sliced her finger when she tried to open it.

(I’d like to heal it quickly, but unfortunately Holy Magic doesn’t work well on me. It’s not serious enough for bandages either… perhaps I’ll wrap it with a handkerchief?)

As she thought that, Isaac noticed and walked over.

“Are you alright, Cordelia?”

“Yes, it’s nothing serious at all. If I lick it, it should heal—”

Just as she said that—

Isaac’s hand suddenly reached out. Taking her hand, he gently put her bleeding finger into his mouth.

“Y-Your Highness…!?”

The wound stung and Cordelia briefly grimaced.

“Um, Isaac-sama, there’s blood, so it’s dirty…!”

She tried to pull back, but he held her hand firmly.

“Um…!?”

Before her confused eyes, Isaac lowered his gaze and slowly began licking her finger as if deliberately showing her.

His warm, melting tongue wrapped around it. At the unfamiliar sensation, Cordelia’s eyes widened.

(H-His Highness is licking… licking… licking my finger!? Th-that’s far too unfairly sexy!)

Her face turned bright red instantly.

Isaac glanced up at her. His lapis-colored eyes were more moist than usual, holding a mysterious allure she had never seen before.

(I-I’ve never even seen a reward scene like this in the original story!?)

In the original game, Isaac’s reward scenes were mostly wholesome — a kiss on the hand or hair — and even those only unlocked after the happy ending.

And yet—

(Wh-what is this way of licking!!! Yes, I did say licking would heal it, but still!)

Before she realized it, the stinging pain had changed into a sweet throbbing sensation.

As Cordelia breathed heavily with a flushed face, Isaac released her finger and spoke calmly.

“Yes, it’s healed.”

Looking, the cut had vanished. Apparently he had healed it with water magic while licking it.

“Th-thank you…! So you were using water magic.”

(So it was for treatment… and yet I…)

Trying to hide her racing heartbeat, she pressed her chest lightly as Isaac returned to his seat with a satisfied smile.

Watching him, she sighed in relief — then suddenly noticed something.

(…Wait? But he didn’t actually need to lick my finger to use water magic, did he…!?)

She looked sharply at Isaac. He smiled innocently as if nothing had happened.
