Meng Nam-cheon attached the three strongest disciples of the Sohyo Mountain Villa as Yu Seol’s attendants.

And before he knew it, it had been five days since his granddaughter set out.

Left alone, Yu Jinsan was once again strolling around the Villa with his hands clasped behind his back.

‘Our Seol is doing fine, right? I hope nothing happens.’

Yu Jinsan couldn’t think of anything but his granddaughter, day and night.

He was uneasy having sent his only bloodline away alone, but there was nothing he could do.

He couldn’t keep her forever under his shadow. To become the Supreme one and command the martial world in the future, this was a necessary process.

If she handled this matter well and returned, there would be no more worries.

“Good day, sir!”

While he was walking, someone came running up with a bright face.

It was Cheon Il-ho, who had followed the martial world’s rumors from the south to this place.

“Oh? That look says you’ve been searching for me?”

Caught out, Cheon Il-ho gave an embarrassed smile.

“Haha. Was it obvious?”

“Would this old man not have noticed that? You must be bored staying here.”

The martial artists who followed the Yin Yang Twin Monster agreed to stay here for the time being.

It was to delay the news of the Blood Sword Unit’ annihilation from reaching the White Flower Blood Cult as long as possible.

And the Sohyo Mountain Villa welcomed their choice; three hundred martial-trained people were a solid reinforcement.

“More than that, I have a question.”

“A question?”

Cheon Il-ho caught his breath and asked cautiously.

“When will the Yin Monster return? Is it true he went to look for the Storm Rider?”

It was a matter that might not concern him, but he seemed curious about how things were unfolding.

He truly was a meddlesome fellow.

He probably wanted to go brag about it to other martial artists.

He had no obligation to answer, but since it was quiet, he thought it wouldn’t hurt to chat for a bit.

“Yes, that’s right. By now he’s probably arrived in Jiangsu Province and is looking around. But finding someone without any leads isn’t easy.”

“Then there’s a high chance he’ll return empty-handed, right?”

“Probably. Chief Meng insisted so much that he relented.”

And finding the Storm Rider was necessary to achieve the original goal.

At that moment, Cheon Il-ho changed the subject and asked.

“Ah. But what’s the real purpose of the White Flower Blood Cult? They seemed terrifying.”

“You sure are curious. What do you think?”

“Hm. Maybe they want to overthrow the murim world by force and swallow the world? Like the demonic cult of old…”

“They’re the same kind of breed, so it’s not an unreasonable thought. It’s just absurd that every dog and ox wants the world.”

After Tianzhu, now the White Flower Blood Cult—one wonders what other lunatics harbor such thoughts.

“But why is the Murim Alliance just watching?”

“They probably didn’t want to expend their strength. The Sohyo Mountain Villa, backed by the Storm Rider, would handle it. Who could have known things would get this bad?”

“Is the White Flower Blood Cult that strong?”

“They’re sinister men who have cultivated strength in the shadows for many years; who could know? They might even be similar to the demonic cult of the past.”

Cheon Il-ho craned his neck in surprise like a turtle and asked.

“…Reaally? Is it really that bad?”

How many people had sacrificed themselves to defeat the demonic cult in the past.

The Murim Alliance and the government troops united and, after many twists and turns, succeeded in quelling it.

To compare the White Flower Blood Cult to such a fearsome force was startling.

“Why take it so seriously? It’s just that it could be so, not that it definitely is.”

He was speculating based on the power of the Blood Sword Unit they’d seen and the information the Storm Rider had gathered.

And if they’d even absorbed remnants of the demonic cult, it wasn’t an outlandish guess.

“I jumped ahead. Anyway, right now everything depends on Yin Monster. It needs to be resolved well…”

If the Yin Monster couldn’t find the Storm Rider, the Sohyo Mountain Villa would be as good as doomed.

And that’s not all. Next, the martial world of Zhejiang Province would be overrun by the White Flower Blood Cult.

“Things will work out somehow. For more details, we can ask that fellow.”

“Yes? Who are you referring to…?”

Yu Jinsan nodded his chin toward somewhere.

Not far away, Meng Nam-cheon was approaching.

Surprisingly, he had a masked man in black clothes in his grasp.

They both hurried over.

“Looks like you’ve captured the one who was spying.”

Meng Nam-cheon nodded at Yu Jinsan’s question.

“A total of five men infiltrated here.”

“Then what happened to the others?”

“We caught and killed three, but one got away. Sigh…”

No matter how excellent Meng Nam-cheon’s lightness skill was, if five scattered in all directions, it would be hard to catch them all.

In any case, it was not good news.

Yu Jinsan’s expression darkened.

“Then things might get complicated. We should have caught them all…”

Meng Nam-cheon sighed as if regretting it.

Then suddenly his grip moved like a razor and seized the masked man’s chin.

Thud-!

He blocked it because the man showed signs of trying to kill himself.

“I’ll give you two choices. Answer my questions and die peacefully, or die slowly and painfully.”

“…Kik.”

When the masked man burst into laughter, Meng Nam-cheon’s eyebrows twitched.

Right now, his eyes saw nothing else.

Wasn’t it just a few days ago that countless kin were killed by the White Flower Blood Cult?

His grip twisted the masked man’s shoulder.

Crack-!!

It was the sound of bones breaking and an arm being snapped.

“Ugh!”

But this was only the beginning.

“Decide, and raise your other hand. Otherwise I’ll assume the latter.”

Then Meng Nam-cheon’s fingers began to gouge at one of his eyes.

“Aaaaaah!!”

Watching that, Yu Jinsan quietly turned his back with his hands clasped behind him.

Watching torture wasn’t a pleasant thing after all.

“It’ll probably take a while, so let’s take a walk around and come back.”

Cheon Il-ho whispered close beside him.

“He’s really got him. I didn’t know the chief could be so frightening.”

“If you lose your kin right before your eyes, you’ll become like that too.”

“That could be. But will he talk? He looked pretty hardened.”

Yu Jinsan looked at the distant sky, then shook his head.

“Those brainwashed into strong conviction won’t yield no matter what you do. By the time we return, he’ll probably be a corpse.”

“I see. But I heard one escaped earlier—will that be a problem?”

“How could it be fine? They’ve likely realized the Blood Sword Unit was annihilated; more attacks could follow soon.”

“Ah….”

His voice trailed off; he clearly was worried.

“Why? Are you afraid to fight alongside us? Then run away now if you must.”

Suddenly a solemn look crossed Cheon Il-ho’s face.

“Ah, no! I’ll stay with you to the end, sir.”

Yu Jinsan gave a small laugh and waved a hand casually.

“No need to worry. This old man won’t just stand by and let that happen.”

Jingang County in Jiangsu Province sits along the lower reaches of the Yangtze and is a relatively quiet town.

Yu Seol was standing with her arms folded somewhere in the town’s market.

She looked as if she was waiting for something.

Behind her, a warrior from the Sohyo Mountain Villa stood with his hands together.

“That inn is the last one, Great Warrior. If no one here has seen the elder, we’ll need to move to another town.”

Yu Seol raised her left hand slightly as if to signal ‘wait a moment.’

“Just a moment. There’s an order to things.”

“Yes? Order?….”

He tilted his head in puzzlement.

Suddenly Yu Seol’s serious face brightened.

Another warrior was running from about ten paces away.

“I bought some things here, Yin Monster Great Warrior.”

He was holding several skewers of chicken and vegetables marinated in seasonings.

Yu Seol snatched one and popped it into her mouth.

“Hee hee hee. Thank you~.”

First she had to fill her stomach before doing anything.

Yu Seol happily began to eat the skewer.

The warrior who had been staring blankly spoke softly.

“If it’s not enough, tell me. I’ll buy more.”

“No, I’m fine, but leave one for me.”

Three elite warriors had been dispatched to accompany the Yin Monster.

One of them wasn’t present; he was likely on another mission.

“Yes, understood.”

The accompanying warriors were upright and full of spirit.

Their martial skill was considerable, though not quite at the level of an absolute master.

Then Yu Seol pointed to one of them.

“Uncle Cheol-ung.”

The gruff man reflexively stood and said.

“Speak, Great Warrior.”

“Aren’t you usually so quiet, Uncle? You’re no fun~”

“It’s not that—I’m worried about the elder…”

Yu Seol smiled brightly and comforted him.

“Don’t worry. There will be good news soon.”

“Good news?”

“Don’t you trust me?”

“Of course I believe you, but…”

Yu Seol’s gaze fixed on a nearby inn.

A moment later.

Suddenly someone burst out of the inn’s doorway with a smiling face.

It was the remaining warrior from the Sohyo Mountain Villa.

His light steps meant there was surely good news.

Approaching, he shouted joyfully.

“I’ve finally found him!”

Yu Seol gave Uncle Cheol-ung a quick wink with her index finger and said.

“See? I told you.”

He had overheard the conversation inside the inn.

And the man who had just left told them what Jeom So-i had confirmed.

“He said the elder came to this inn often and ate a shrimp stew called ‘Yu Min-ha.’”

The Storm Rider was said, as a side effect of undergoing Age Revival twice, to remain in a child’s form and not grow.

A child wouldn’t repeatedly come alone to an inn to eat expensive dishes; the innkeeper server’s memory of him must indeed be the Storm Rider.

Cheol-ung urged him on urgently.

“Keep talking, disciple.”

“He said he hadn’t come since about ten days ago. That day, he said this might be his last visit to the inn.”

“Was there nothing else?”

“That’s all, brother.”

“Sigh… This alone won’t be enough of a lead.”

A shadow fell over Cheol-ung’s face again.

How could one find a person with only this much information?

The Sohyo Mountain Villa warriors sighed in frustration.

“He’s gone, he’s gone.”

Everyone turned their gaze to Yu Seol.

“Yes? Where has he gone?”

“You said it was his last time here.”

“Yes, but how is that a lead?”

Yu Seol slid a knife-edge of her hand across her neck and said.

“It means he might die. He was going to fight the Cult Leader. He must have come here to eat his favorite food before dying.”

“So are you saying the elder was killed fighting the Cult Leader?”

“We have to go check. Do we have the location of the White Flower Blood Cult?”

Cheol-ung answered, tilting his head.

“That may be, but… Yang Monster Great Hero told us not to enter that place, didn’t he?”

“We won’t storm inside. Let’s just look around. If they fought nearby, I can find traces.”

It was a perfectly reasonable suggestion.

There was risk, but what could be scary when they’re with the Yin Monster?

The Sohyo Mountain Villa warriors all seemed to agree.
