“I’m asking about this—what kind of drink is this?”
Although Eir looks undeniably cute and pretty now, Naiye was referring to the red drink.
“A liquor made from Dragon Spring wine and Flame Dragon fruit—a top-tier tonic only high-ranking Dragon Knights can drink.”
“…………..”
Eiru had definitely added something to it; he just didn’t know how strong its effects would be.
But that didn’t matter—what mattered was that Naiye was hungry now.
Naiye grabbed the jerky and bread and finished them in no time, then reached for the red drink.
“……….”
When Naiye picked up the cup, Eir and Eiru both opened their eyes and watched as he drank it himself.
The Silver Dragon maid Eir immediately closed her eyes, while Grandma Eiru showed a delighted smile.
Naiye shivered all over—the drink’s stimulation was quite strong!
But it didn’t taste bad; surprisingly, it was pretty good. Naiye had expected it to taste worse.
“What else is in this?”
Eiru leaned in like a little cat and whispered in his ear.
“Something that gives adult Direhorns energy…”
“…!”
Eir moved the tray in her hands aside and gently grabbed Naiye, who was right in front of her face.
Naiye’s current feeling wasn’t just a little warm—heat surging from deep within his body spread constantly all over.
He even began to lose control of his body, slowly leaning back…….
He fell onto a petite yet very firm body.
Ha…ha…… Young Master Naiye began panting heavily, unable to speak.
Eiru leaned against Naiye’s body, resting her head from behind, happily admiring Naiye’s current weakness and yet vibrant energy.
At Eiru’s prompt, Eir opened her mouth wide, and her hands began to move.
The former commander of the Dragon Knight Order, Silver Dragon Knight Eir Dragonborn, personally served Naiye—it truly felt quite something.
“This medicine is a bit strong—just let it ease off a bit and you’ll be fine.”
It indeed eased somewhat; Naiye regained control of his body, but he was still very overheated.
But the stimulation actually cleared Naiye’s mind.
Eiru’s arms were wrapped entirely around Naiye; he could only support himself with one hand on the bed below, while the other hand pressed down on the Silver Dragon Knight’s head, using leverage to slowly get up.
“………..!”
The Silver Dragon knight Eir looked at Young Master Naiye with a puzzled gaze, but was then suddenly pushed slightly forward by a force.
This clumsy Dragon Knight knew nothing—Naiye adjusted her head by grabbing it before continuing.
Afterwards the Silver Dragon Knight could only slowly continue; Naiye calmed down and gently stroked that beautiful silver hair.
As if it were shameful to have her head patted by Naiye, Eir stopped with a faint blush.
She was immediately pressed down again by Naiye.
Naiye continued to stroke her head, as if searching for something—not the hidden small dragon horn.
Where were Eir’s dragon scales? Could she have none at all? Finally Naiye’s hand rested on the Silver Dragon Knight’s forehead.
He gently swept aside the hair covering it and found a small dragon scale right on her forehead.
“Eiru, how does Eir’s bloodline… compare to that brat Eren’s right now?”
Eir, below, became agitated again, trying to resist, showing obvious displeasure—she clearly didn’t want to hear about this topic.
But she was immediately subdued by Naiye; her blue draconic pupils were even slightly moist.
Hearing that was even more painful than her current state of humiliation!
“Eren’s bloodline is currently exceptionally privileged! Second only to me, and when Eren grows up he’ll be a Dragon Knight a century or two from now second only to the clan leader!”
“So?”
“So—Eren’s bloodline is much stronger than Eir’s! Not by a little, but by far.”
Eren is male; in a female knight family it might be odd for him to become clan leader, second only to the leader.
But in terms of bloodline and strength those are merely matters of face; besides, Eren could easily train another female Dragon Knight in the future to represent the Dragon Knights.
Just like now.
“Mmm… wah wah wah!!”
Eir, serving Naiye below, had something in her mouth, so she mumbled a few times and then—
—actually began to cry, simply because she heard that statement.
The bloodline hierarchy among the Dragon Knights was far more severe than Young Master Naiye had imagined.
“The punishment’s not over yet—continue!”
Naiye scolded, but did not keep pressing Eir down.
Just as he had thought before, Eir’s current appearance really did make a man risk everything.
Naiye’s behavior was essentially the same, and it was indeed very pleasurable.
And it was too pleasurable.
After being scolded by Young Master Naiye, Eir resumed awkwardly, but clearly it wasn’t as good.
Most of her thoughts were still on what had just been said.
“How did this Eir become captain of the Dragon Knight Order?”
“She was already very capable—she climbed up the ranks through the normal path.”
“And then……….”
“Eren showed up and pushed her out.”
No wonder she reacted so strongly—this matter was truly hard to remain calm about.
And Eren is still a young fellow, yet all the knights already consider him the most promising.
“Eren said he was looked down on for being too young.”
“Right, so now they’re training him; everyone has to give way for him.”
Eiru spoke in the tone of the clan’s matriarch—by ‘everyone’ she specifically meant Eir; she resented Eren’s sudden arrival.
“……….”
Young Master Naiye suddenly felt a bit sorry for Eren; he really was a young man growing up under everyone’s gaze.
Because Young Master Naiye had a similar situation, but he quickly took control of the Lycoris family.
But the Dragon Knight family wasn’t necessarily like that—it’s too vast; even when Eren grows up, it may not be so easy for him.
At this point, Naiye lowered his head to look at Eir.
Now she couldn’t speak—not only was there something in her mouth, but she was also under Eiru’s punishment.
She had been so arrogantly aloof before, but now she cried like a little girl—despite possessing great power, she was being controlled by Naiye, a scrawny fellow.
Perhaps that contrast was the allure.
Naiye finally made up his mind.
Feeling the surging tide, he stood up.
After his release, he announced to the two of them.
“I will take Eir Dragonborn away—her new name will be Eir Lycoris.”
“Good! That will do!”
Eiru smiled in approval of Naiye’s declaration!
Eir finally freed her mouth, but she collapsed to the ground panting heavily, her draconic eyes still wet with tears.
Only after calming down was she able to look at Young Master Naiye with an extremely strange expression—unsure whether she was happy or sad.
But then she was driven out; she couldn’t stay with Grandmother Eiru to soothe Young Master Naiye’s overheated body.
However, at the end Naiye asked the question he’d been wanting to ask.
“Why do you protect Eir? Can’t she stay here?”
“Her bloodline isn’t strong enough; everyone despises her. Eren became captain not only because of me.”
“Grandfather was right—you all of the Dragon Knight family really deserve to be scolded!”
