The next day, Young Master Naiye had a decadent steak in his room!

Eating greasy food first thing in the morning isn’t really good, and appetites are usually small in the morning, so you generally shouldn’t.

But Naiye hadn’t eaten enough last night and had been put through a rough time by Xiya, so he was very hungry early this morning!

Not only was there an elegantly presented steak, but also a fruit salad, mushroom soup, and a clear broth that looked plain but delicious.

One practical fact: after last night, Young Master Naiye’s reputation became well-known among the chefs!

On one hand he liked good food; on the other, and most importantly, Young Master Naiye wasn’t a picky eater!

Many head chefs face nobles with anger they dare not speak.

Because the noble young ladies are extremely picky! Extremely picky! Exceedingly picky!

Even when eating a simple plate of fried rice they’ll find fault, not wanting this or that.

And almost every one of them is like that, which infuriates the chefs but leaves them powerless!

These daughters of wealthy families are not only rich but also the darlings of their clans—what can the chefs do?

In contrast, Young Master Naiye, though wealthy and proud, truly loves food and never picks and chooses no matter what is served!

This is rare, because the only other non-picky noble the chefs knew of was a gastronome!

And now the name Naiye Lycoris was also becoming very familiar in chef circles, and his reputation was excellent.

“Naiye~ this is the chef’s creation for you! The chefs were really praising you!”

Naiye’s room was suddenly knocked on, and the visitor barged in without giving Naiye a chance to respond.

It was the sexy yet noble golden knight, Nia Skywing.

Last night her wife, her second-in-command, the family’s second most important person had been taking care of Young Master Naiye.

And she showed no reaction at all, as if she didn’t care about anything? Could that be? Naiye didn’t believe it.

Fire Lina’s dislike of Nia was pure and simple, because she was completely opposite to Nia’s straightforward personality!

Those two were a textbook case of water and fire being incompatible.

Nia Skywing still stood as the leader before so many nobles and the Sky Wing Knights.

She couldn’t possibly be merely a dashing, dignified, and glamorous female knight.

Before the role of female knight, she was the head of a clan!

After Xiya’s naive and ignorant experiences, Young Master Naiye was completely convinced of that.

“Here, try this!”

Nia approached with a joyful, graceful smile, holding a plate in her hands.

She must have noticed that Naiye had almost finished eating before bringing over the after-meal dessert.

It was a simple yet exquisite vegetable dessert, about the size of a palm.

This time Young Master Naiye cautiously poked it with his fork to confirm it was safe.

After confirming it was safe, he slowly ate it.

“Hehe〜”

Nia waited happily and calmly at his side, looking very composed.

But on closer look she felt like a smiling tiger, giving off a malicious vibe!

After the accident last night, coming to find Naiye so early this morning was obviously not so simple.

Naiye finished eating quickly, then looked at the blonde female knight beside him.

She still smiled warmly, a sacred and beautiful smile, but Young Master Naiye’s words immediately broke that smile.

“Nia. Meiyu Canster… the Student Council President refused the invitation and didn’t come at all, right?”

“…………”

Nia’s smile froze instantly on her pretty face, oddly like a beautiful but awkward statue.

Finally she sighed, and the delicate mask on her face immediately shattered.

First, she demurely wiped Young Master Naiye’s mouth, then cleared the dishes and wiped the table.

Then she sat directly on the table in front of Naiye, her healthy, firm, and ample thighs displayed before him without concern.

Nia’s thighs were pure and flawless, soft and fully rounded, their elegant curves strikingly powerful!

At the same time, delicate white stockings wrapped her thighs, making them pop visually, bright and pure.

At this moment they swayed teasingly in front of Young Master Naiye.

Having successfully attracted Naiye’s gaze, the white-stockinged thighs lightly pressed against the root of Naiye’s thigh!

Although Young Master Naiye remained calm, his eyes did what they were meant to: they never left Nia’s thighs.

But it was Nia who continued speaking.

“Yes, President Meiyu has shown no sign and hasn’t sent any information at all.”

His crimson spider-lily eyes lifted and glared at her.

“I told you long ago, but you, and your entire Skywing Knight Family didn’t believe me…”

“Hmph, the cast-off child grows up well and yet has the nerve to come back and claim the family?!”

Young Master Naiye mercilessly mocked the Skywing Knight Family’s extremely hypocritical and arrogant behavior.

Why did the Skywing Knight Family invite Young Master Naiye to the banquet?

In truth, Young Master Naiye was nothing more than a guest; there was nothing particularly special about him besides being a guest.

Because the Skywing was holding the banquet for a more important purpose!

That purpose was to win over Meiyu Canster, the current Student Council President and now Auriel’s strongest knight.

They wanted to lure her back into their bloodline. Meiyu bore pale blue beautiful wings and was exceptionally strong; it went without saying she had the Sky Wing Knights’ bloodline, and she had become Student Council President—and had held the post for three years.

The Skywing Knight Family now had two factions: the Sky Wing Knight Order and the Blackwing family, yet in reality there had always been a third faction.

That was Meiyu Canster! She alone had become the most prominent figure in the Skywing family.

The two most important figures of the Sky Wing Knights, Nia Skywing and Xiya Blackwing, were not up to par before her.

She single-handedly took the Student Council presidency!

To put it nicely, the Skywing Knight Family was using Meiyu—a discarded daughter no longer truly belonging to them—to polish their own image!

Her grandmother once eloped and left the family, and now they were willing to do anything to try to coax her back.

They flaunted the banner of blood being thicker than water, but in truth they cared only about themselves.

This attitude and behavior were unbearably hypocritical and arrogant! And Young Master Naiye, who knew Meiyu’s character, despised the Skywing family’s actions.

Inviting Young Master Naiye over was partly to extend friendly gestures and to see Naiye’s stance regarding an alliance with the Dragon Knights.

But on the other hand, and more importantly, the Skywing Knight Family hoped Naiye could be of help because they thought he had some relation with President Meiyu.

That second idea was truly naive.

Nia was also very clear about this, yet the family arrogantly refused to believe it.

“If the Student Council President joined the Sky Wing Knights, that would be great—then we’d ensure President Meiyu becomes the new leader of the Sky Wing Knight Order! And also!!!

“The Knight King!”

Nia’s healthy, full thighs pressed against Naiye as she loudly proclaimed the Skywing family’s intention in inviting Meiyu.

Calling it shouting was just sarcasm!!!

If becoming the Knight King were that easy, the knights’ three thousand years of ceaseless fighting would be a joke.

So far there had only been three Knight Kings!

The nobles of the Skywing Knight Family were full of hypocritical fantasies, and Nia was particularly disgusted!

Her dealings with President Meiyu had always been, on the surface, to secretly build relations and to appear to be pulling her back to the family.

In truth she knew how serious the rift between Meiyu and the Sky Wing Knights was!

President Meiyu not caring much about lineage was already the greatest show of tolerance!

“…………”

Young Master Naiye looked at Nia; she seemed completely changed. The once supremely noble, dignified, and majestic Sky Wing Knights commander now had no manners at all.

She spread her ample fair legs clad in white stockings and stepped on Naiye, striking a flamboyant pose as she sat on the table in front of him.

One could say she looked like an uncouth hot girl!

And this was Nia’s true nature: the so-called dignified and noble model knight was just a mask worn before others!

For those living the gilded life of nobles wearing all kinds of masks, this was almost inevitable.

Xiya Blackwing was perhaps the most obvious example; she even suppressed her own feelings.

“What are you going to do now? Has there been any progress on last night’s matter?”

“It’s enough. Today, while everyone is present, I’ll convene a judgment; Xiya will execute those underhanded members! That way the family will stabilize due to the situation.”

Unlike last night’s overly drawn-out conversation with Xiya, Nia was efficient, crisp, and extremely precise in her aim!

Naiye listened as he cupped the plump, firm thigh wrapped in white silk before him with both hands.

The stockings’ texture was delicate and soft, irresistible to the touch, and the white appearance looked sacred and beautiful, giving an instant sense of untouchable sanctity.

Nia’s well-trained thighs were soft and tender to the touch, meaty yet perfectly curved—so full that just looking at them was extremely pleasant.

“What’s going on between you and Xiya? Three years ago you two seemed like the most devoted couple?”

As he stroked the white-stockinged thigh, Young Master Naiye continued questioning Nia.

This time it was about Xiya: last night’s emotional outburst from her had been severe; she had suppressed herself to an exaggerated degree.

And before that, she and Nia had been quite the “model” couple.

But that was only before; back then Xiya seemed like a gentle, virtuous wife, always following behind Nia.

But now?

“She and I have long been a marriage in name only; from the start it was a political union without any feelings. The so-called model couple was only a show for everyone.

“Her innate personality is too suppressive; it’s as if she really wants to treat herself like a tool!”

Nia sighed, and the golden wings on her back fluttered with a hint of regret.

“It’s a pity—she has such talent, but her character is fundamentally unsuited to being a knight. Yet as a wife, she’s a perfect political instrument!

“If she lived purely as an aristocrat among aristocrats it might have been fine, but the Skywing Knight Family, despite having many nobles, is essentially a knightly clan!”

“Xiya… it’s really such a shame. Caught between both sides, she can only suppress herself—she can’t rise, and she can’t fall…”

“……”

Nia finally sighed helplessly, lamenting Xiya’s fate.

Xiya probably never realized that she thought of herself as Nia’s primary rival.

But in reality the opposition with the Blackwing family was only superficial, and she herself had been cultivated by Nia to be such a rival.

In other words, the supposed rivalry between Skywing and Blackwing was just a sandbox for noble power struggles!

No matter how the nobles fought, they couldn’t escape the watchful eye of the Sky Wing Knights, the true masters!

And Xiya Blackwing was supposed to be a puppeteer too, but because of her own character, in a bid to prove herself…

She jumped in and became a pawn, even thinking she could oppose Nia!

That’s why both Young Master Naiye and Nia felt sorry for her!

Her character was almost predetermined! And neither of them could make her change, unless they deeply hurt her heart.

Sometimes an overly proud and arrogant personality is just that bad.

“So… do you love her?”

Facing that question, Nia Skywing grew cold and serious; her golden hair and wings shimmered like bright sparks, dazzling.

She gently pinched Naiye’s delicate chin, almost close enough to kiss his mouth.

She looked into his crimson spider-lily eyes.

“I have never loved her.”
