While Young Master Naiye was having in-depth conversations with the knight young ladies of Skywing, Blackwing, Whitewing, and others.
In the manor, Eir loyally completed her duties, while the Dark Knight went alone to visit Rena Silvermoon of the Three Moons Knight Order.
Eir stood alone in the manor courtyard, the afterglow of the setting sun casting a soft sheen on her pale skin.
Her white draconic eyes, though doing nothing dangerous, still involuntarily shimmered with a cold and mysterious light.
At this moment Eir was cleaning the manor; her unusually tall figure, dressed in a maid outfit, quietly swept.
The manor the Academy had given Young Master Naiye was even larger than she expected—courtyards, corridors, living rooms, offices… Every corner needed careful cleaning.
Finally the courtyard: the flowers and plants that she and Ice Tina had once ruined had quickly regrown, and the sunny, breezy scene was very comforting and peaceful.
Eir wiped with a towel the various strange parts Young Master Naiye had placed in the courtyard, and a powered-down, incapacitated Magical Automaton knight.
But the head of that automaton knight had already been replaced with a dragon head.
Eir had no idea how Young Master Naiye had done it; she was completely ignorant of magical technology.
Although the dragon head could breathe fire, Eir still thought it was ugly—after all, it was mechanical.
And a true wyrm isn’t defined merely by breathing fire!
Facing all this technology she didn’t understand, she merely wiped off the surface dust.
She left the rest untouched; the Dark Knight Weiluxika, a senior younger than her, had deliberately warned her.
【When cleaning, do not tamper with any of Young Master Naiye’s magical technology parts, not even a small piece—don’t throw anything away as trash! Leave everything where it is!】
The courtyard cleaning ended simply like that, and the Magical Automaton knight Young Master Naiye was modifying remained quietly where it was.
Eir also quietly finished all her tasks.
She was not good at expressing herself, nor did she like complaining; she simply did what she had to do in silence.
With the cleaning done, the manor felt especially quiet… because she was the only one left here.
Young Master Naiye was with the Skywing Knight Family, and the Dark Knight Weiluxika had gone to approach Silver Moon Knight Rena Silvermoon.
They were both out; Eir didn’t want to go out, so she stayed here alone.
“……………..”
Eir stood in the empty corridor, only the sound of her own footsteps echoing around her.
That feeling again… this was bad.
She suddenly felt an indescribable loneliness, as if the whole world had become only her…
Her already indifferent face, with a hint of pride, took on an even sadder, lonelier air.
Her heart… gradually filled with a faint sorrow; she felt the hateful loneliness.
She hated it, because back home she had always been like this—the others would unconsciously distance themselves from her.
After cleaning, Eir took a simple bath and tidied herself.
Then she moved.
Unconsciously, Eir found herself at Young Master Naiye’s room.
So…
The door was half ajar; she gently pushed it open and walked in.
She didn’t know if it was because she had taken a bath or for some other reason.
Eir took a deep breath; the room was filled only with the scent of Young Master Naiye.
That faint, reassuring scent gave Eir a trace of warmth and longing.
She unconsciously felt warm, her body even stirring with sensation.
She sat on Naiye’s bed, her hands gently stroking the sheets, hoping to feel Young Master Naiye’s presence that way.
After glancing outside and seeing no one approaching, Eir laid herself fully across Naiye’s bed.
Her mind suddenly recalled the time that night when Young Master Naiye had dominated her…
Thinking of that feeling, her fair, beautiful face gradually flushed.
Eir closed her eyes, trying to immerse herself in memories of Naiye.
However, the harder she tried, the lonelier she felt…
“Not enough… still not enough…”
Finally, Eir stood up and walked to Naiye’s wardrobe.
She opened the wardrobe; Naiye’s clothes hung neatly inside. She reached out, gently touched them, then took one out and cradled it in her hands.
Eir pressed Naiye’s clothes to her face and took a deep breath.
That familiar scent instantly filled her nostrils, giving her an inexplicable comfort. She closed her eyes as if Naiye were beside her, comforting her once more!
She took another deep breath!
Eir’s full, long thighs suddenly clenched together! Two legs, sensually entwined and wrapped in white garter stockings.
Blushing all over, Eir suddenly—felt she wasn’t so afraid of loneliness anymore!
While Eir kept watch over the manor, the Dark Knight Weiluxika went alone to the Church of the Three Moons Goddess.
“……..”
Weiluxika was a bit nervous—not because she feared meeting the Silver Moon Knight or the Three Moons Goddess.
She was simply anxious for personal reasons: the dark-patterned markings on her made her socially anxious.
Although recently Young Master Naiye’s cheerful compliments had helped Weiluxika become more sunny and open.
Yet an inner resistance to social interaction still remained in her heart.
Moreover, Young Master Naiye had been wary of Rena Silvermoon’s contact with her during this time.
She had been ill-intentioned in wanting to approach Weiluxika, even if it was only to speak with her alone.
And this was the first time Young Master Naiye had sent her to make such an approach alone.
At least President Meiyu herself wasn’t resistant, and was someone Weiluxika was familiar with.
But this time…
The Dark Knight Weiluxika nervously clasped her hands and felt the bracelet on her arm.
A bracelet Young Master Naiye had specially made for her—the purpose was to make her not be afraid of herself.
—Young Master Naiye believes in me, so I can go approach them with confidence.
Weiluxika lifted her head; her dark gaze was steady as ever.
The silver moon hung high; the night wind was cool.
The breeze gently blew Weiluxika’s two long, dark-braided pigtails, letting them drift softly in the wind.
“Welcome, Weiluxika. I’m glad you took the initiative to come to the Church of the Three Moons.”
Silver Moon Knight Rena stood before the ancient stone shrine, gazing at the dark-armored girl before her—the Dark Knight Weiluxika.
Her eyes sparkled with expectation and resolve, as if she already believed Weiluxika had come today to join them.
“Weiluxika, I sincerely invite you to join us and become a Dark Moon Knight.”
Rena’s voice was as soft and pleasant as the night wind, gentle and polite, but Weiluxika did not like hearing those words.
Her knight title was the Dark Knight, given by Young Master Naiye—not Dark Moon Knight.
“I’m not here to join you; Young Master Naiye sent me to learn more about the situation.”
“Are you sure? The blessing of the Dark Moon Goddess will grant you unparalleled power—you would become the brightest among us.”
Rena continued gently yet firmly, paying no heed to Young Master Naiye’s doubts, still sincerely inviting Weiluxika.
Power…
Weiluxika slightly raised her head, gave her a glare, and spoke in a low, resolute voice.
“Miss Rena, I am honored by your invitation, but I must be honest—I have doubts about it!”
Under the pale moonlight, Rena—with hair and eyes like the silver moon—slightly frowned, then quickly relaxed.
It seemed Weiluxika harbored an emotion she couldn’t let go of deep inside, but that was fine.
Rena, representing the will of the Three Moons Goddess, was not here to destroy her feelings.
And she would not harm Weiluxika—after all, she was the only knight the Dark Moon Goddess had favored for so long.
She smiled like an older sister and continued to dispel her doubts.
“All right, I understand well—Young Master Naiye means more to you!”
Rena said softly.
“But becoming a Dark Moon Knight doesn’t mean you must abandon your past. Therefore, the Three Moons Knight Order warmly welcomes a knight like you—powerful and chosen by the Dark Moon Goddess!
“You don’t need to change; we only need you to fill a missing piece. Young Master Naiye hasn’t refused this, has he?”
Weiluxika’s gaze flickered; Young Master Naiye indeed hadn’t rejected the proposal.
On the contrary, he was interested; it’s just that Young Master Naiye wasn’t reckless—this time he let Weiluxika approach on her own.
On one hand, it was to let Weiluxika gain some experience.
On the other hand, it was to let her figure out what the will of the Three Moons Goddess and the Dark Moon Knights truly were.
Just hearing that name made Weiluxika’s pale little face flush; the Dark Knight calmed herself as best she could and said.
“I’m not sure I’m truly willing to become a Dark Moon Knight. I am… interested in such power, but I do not therefore worship the Dark Moon Goddess!”
Rena nodded; she understood Weiluxika’s hesitation.
After all, when a normal person hears that a deity suddenly grants power or wealth, the first reaction might be joy—but it is followed by caution.
There’s no such thing as a free lunch.
But Weiluxika’s willingness to engage was already a very good start!
For Rena Silvermoon, that was sufficient.
“I respect your thoughts, Miss Weiluxika,” Rena said with a smile.
“Your willingness to learn about the Dark Moon Goddess and the Dark Moon Knights is enough. If you want to dispel your doubts first, I’m willing to explain everything to you.”
Weiluxika was silent for a moment, then nodded.
Rena bowed elegantly with a satisfied, happy smile.
Then she turned and walked into the Church of the Three Moons.
The doors stood open, awaiting the Dark Knight Weiluxika’s entry.
“……..”
Before entering, Weiluxika asked herself inwardly.
—Am I here for power, or for… Naiye?
Weiluxika had long ago confirmed to herself that she craved power.
Why? Because her childhood was hard—she had done nothing wrong, yet others rejected her…
All because of that terrible dark-patterned marking on her body…
Except for one person…
A pair of crimson spider-lily eyes looked at the terrible dark markings on her body without fear or distraction.
After some time, those crimson spider-lily eyes even began to desire her…
“Young Master Naiye, I will use my power to protect you and everything that is yours.”
Weiluxika silently vowed in her heart.
The silver moon hung high; the night wind was cool.
Weiluxika stood before the hall, staring at the distant horizon.
Her heart was filled with determination and courage.
The knight in her heart had already made clear who she must protect!
Then, she stepped into the Church of the Three Moons Goddess.
