“Kou, drink this.”

I received a Healing Pill from Elder Mon and swallowed it. It was a type of immortal medicine said to make wounds heal about five times faster. Healing Pills were basic among immortal medicines, so they did not have an immediate effect.

“Chenfa, the jar.”

Chenfa nodded and handed the jar and chopsticks she had brought to Elder Mon. Elder Mon sprinkled some kind of powder over the jar and poured spiritual power into it. Then the jar glowed for an instant. After that, she went to the altar, carefully lifted the evil heart with the chopsticks, and placed it inside the jar. Then she handed the jar and chopsticks to Chenfa.

“I treated the jar to seal demonic qi, so I think it will be all right, but absolutely do not drop it.”

“Understood.”

Chenfa nodded with a serious expression. It seemed Chenfa could also tell that the evil heart was spewing out a massive amount of demonic qi, and understood that it was dangerous.

The chancellor stood up with an angry expression. Elder Mon looked into the chancellor’s eyes with a resolute attitude.

Chenfa said that. I had heard that the Gahou Kingdom was a friendly nation, but was that not true?

“That suspicion cannot be denied. They are supposedly a friendly nation, but it seems they intend to swallow the Fang Kingdom if they see an opening.”

Aside from the Gahou Kingdom, there was also another suspicious country called the Chebul Theocracy. The Chebul Theocracy to the east was openly hostile to the Fang Kingdom.
