“Phew~”
Today was awful.
Those people were a real nuisance.
Even so, I was glad I managed to defeat that bastard who could nullify detection skills.
If he had been an imperial, he surely would have attacked the Beast-Ear Garden the moment war began.
The Empire sure got lucky.
If that had happened, I would have slammed Besmagil mana warheads into the imperial capital in retaliation and turned the entire nation to ash.
Oh? It is noisier over on the girls’ side.
I wonder if Fal is getting carried away again.
Do not get so excited that you pee in the bath.
“Pihyaa——”
She was in human form, but Fal-chan let out the same sort of cry she makes in her Rainbow Fals form.
She seemed extremely delighted.
Come to think of it, I have not seen Fal-chan’s Rainbow Fals form lately.
Even though it is incredibly cute.
It feels really nice to the touch too.
Right now Fal-chan was absorbed in the bath toys Onii-chan had made me bring for her.
She already looks bigger than little Remi, but to be frank, inside she is basically still a baby.
After all, she was only just born.
Especially since she seems long-lived like a dragon.
More than that, she is such an excessively rare mysterious life-form that even a dragon who has lived over five thousand years does not really understand her.
But she is cute.
The princesses too were fussing over Fal-chan, squealing all the while.
A swim ring, a glowing dancing chibi dragon, a bucket and ladle made of beautiful red and yellow materials, and floating little duckies.
And I even brought out every bath toy I could think of, right down to a special magic water gun.
Every single one was made by Al-oniichan himself.
Apparently they are what they call top-ranked products on mail-order websites, but I do not really understand what that means.
Is “Jungle” some kind of code?
In the bath there were the princesses, Lady Velvet, me, and Fal-chan.
Of course, the maids were with us too.
The princesses have very beautiful skin.
I suppose it is because what they eat is completely different from commoners.
Maybe the Second Princess is just about at the point of leaving behind a child’s figure.
Among this group, her chest was the largest, and it was nicely shaped too.
Lady Velvet comes next, I think?
She is only twelve, but among this group she feels the closest to being an adult in both body and mind.
The princesses have such translucent beautiful silver hair that if they were bathing in some spring somewhere, they might be mistaken for nymphs.
Lady Velvet’s golden hair also sparkled and was very beautiful.
Lady Hamil and I probably have about the same build.
No, I am about a year older than her, so it is absolutely bad if we are only about the same, which makes this a very delicate age indeed.
The clothes that fit me perfectly are also Lady Hamil’s size.
Well, in a word, that means we are flat-chested.
I-it is fine.
My mother has a large chest.
Her Majesty the Queen also has a large chest, so Lady Hamil is safe too.
I was surrounded in the bath by all these super-beautiful girls without a single stitch on, but unfortunately there are no illustrations in this novel.
I was really tired today.
I had not really thought about it, but there were nothing but incredible people there, were there not?
Still, a wide bath feels wonderful.
In this country, even commoners can soak in a big bath if they go to a bathhouse, but Adros did not have any.
But Onii-chan threw money around and had them built one after another.
Apparently he cannot stand it if the city he lives in does not have them.
That created lots of jobs there too.
But the bath here is on another level.
Originally, this is not a place where someone like me should be.
But just for today, as a reward, I am enjoying it to the fullest.
Apparently the land of the Rare Visitors has incredibly developed bath culture, and at the wish of the first king, a great many bathhouses were built.
Onii-chan brought shampoo into this world, so members of the royal family and the like use it.
Our family uses it too, because we are specially given some.
Apparently the kind for adults is too harsh for small children, but our Mari is fine with it.
The princesses and the duke’s daughter are fooling around by touching each other’s chests.
Even dragging in the maids, who are noble daughters themselves, hugging them tightly from behind and grabbing their chests.
It is quite an intense sight, but well, there is not a single boy here.
About three people, however, have been excluded from that circle.
Naturally, I am in the excluded group.
I will at least make the hollow excuse that “I was undernourished for a very long time.”
The princesses got out of the bath and were having their bodies washed by the maids.
Their gleaming skin covered in foam made for a pretty devastating sight.
I was washing Fal-chan while glancing at that from the side.
And when we were soaking in the bath at the end, Fal-chan suddenly said this.
“Eri-chan! Can I sing a song?”
Ah, since this is a bath, she probably means that one.
That would be a little much in this royal palace…
“Umm…”
“Eh? Will we be allowed to hear a song of Sacred Elion-sama⁉”
“Amazing! I missed hearing it during the day.”
“I would dearly love to hear it~”
U-umm…
“Then Fal-chan will sing!”
W-well, I guess it is fine today…
And so, in the ultra-luxurious grand bath inside the palace of one of the great kingdoms of this world, the hymn of Sacred Elion? was about to be performed.
I wonder if this is really okay.
“Phew, a big bath really is the best. Oh? Little Fal is singing. All right then. Then this old man will sing along too. ‘That song.’”
And there, in the presence of the princesses of the kingdom, it resounded.
That “Bath Song” which became the original song for the ending theme of that monster program that any Japanese grade-schooler born in the 1950s Shōwa era would have gone wild over.
The song, sung in the lively childlike manner so fitting for that divine messenger, Sacred Elion, the Rainbow Fals herself, together with the off-key singing of an old man, echoed through the great bath.
The princesses, who had been made to listen to a song completely different from what they had expected, froze in spite of themselves, but their memoirs later recorded that it had been a single song condensed with more fun than anything they had ever experienced before.
