Arun and Hyo-ju, who had been listening to my orders to Kyuri from start to finish, were so surprised that they stood there with their mouths agape.

Arun kept his mouth open for so long that he even started drooling.

“Um… Delegate. I am confident in installing all the facilities, but it will cost quite a bit.”

“How long will it take to be ready?”

Kyuri, the representative of the Construction Guild, was concerned about the cost, but I asked about the construction period.

“If we mobilize all the manpower of the Construction Guild and hire enough mages, a week should be sufficient.”

“Three days, resolve it within that time. Instead, the construction cost will be paid with this.”

I placed two diamonds on my hand, the same ones I took out at the office earlier.

Kyuri, startled by the radiant diamonds and the concentrated power within them, took a step back and waved her hands vigorously.

“I-it’s too much. Even one is more than enough.”

“Is that so?”

Well, one diamond is worth 200,000 gold. That’s 20 billion won in Korean money.

Kyuri’s claim that 20 billion won for remodeling is not a small amount might be valid.

“No, use both of them. One is for the construction fee, meaning the labor costs for hiring the Construction Guild and mages. The other is for materials. Make sure the plants you mentioned for the garden have good effects, and don’t skimp on materials. The same goes for the interior, and the hot and cold water facilities. Make the workshop equipment top-notch too.”

“Yes…”

“And this. It’s a 1kg Mithril Ingot with 99.99% purity. Use it as a material for the magic circle. I’m telling you to install a high-rank permanent magic circle with the best efficiency. For all the magic circles I mentioned. Even for the Cleanliness Maintenance Magic Circle. Got it?”

“H-huh? Is it possible for a Mithril Ingot with 99.99% purity to exist?”

“You can verify it if you want.”

“N-no need!”

The Construction Guild representative, shaking her head desperately, carefully put five diamonds and Mithril Ingots into her magic pouch.

This is precisely why I asked Ludicer after the second Dive, before entering the ‘Battlefield of the Gods.’

If it were diamonds or various gems, it would be understandable.

However, those Mithril Ingots. Mithril Ingots with a purity of 100% are treasures for which a mage would risk their life.

If a staff used by mages were made from that Mithril, there would be plenty of mages willing to enter into a slave contract for it.

The function Mithril possesses, the purification and amplification of mana.

Just holding such a Mithril Ingot and breathing mana would purify the mana within one’s body.

“B-by all means! I will install them within 3 days!”

“Alright, good job. If you know of a decent inn, recommend it. Ah! Clothes store first.”

At my words, Kyuri insisted on personally guiding us.

First, we entered a decent-looking clothing store and bought everyday clothes and training outfits, including underwear for Lee Hyo-ju and Arun, and handed them over.

Arun felt honored, and Lee Hyo-ju was embarrassed.

Of course, I didn’t forget to mention that since it was a loan, it must be repaid. There was no such thing as a free lunch in this world, especially not in the ‘Battlefield of the Gods.’

After leaving the clothing store, Kyuri led us to an inn with a neat white exterior.

When she entered the inn and introduced our party in grandiose terms to the owner, the innkeeper bowed deeply, as if ready to bury his forehead into the ground.

“Assuming Kyuri does her job properly, we’ll stay for three days. One room for four people, two single rooms.”

“Yes, Sir. The four-person room is 20 gold per day. A single room is 5 gold. For one four-person room and two single rooms for three days, it totals 90 gold.”

A four-person room is 2 million won per day, and a single room is 500,000 won? It’s more expensive than I thought. But I have more than enough jewels and gold coins.

“Meals are three times a day. Three servings of the chef’s special recommended dish. One for the four-person room, and one each for the single rooms, delivered at every meal.”

“Understood. Would you like to start with lunch?”

“Yes.”

“Alright. The meal cost is 1 gold per person per day.”

“Then let’s settle the meal costs for three days as well.”

“Yes, Sir. That’s 99 gold.”

For a moment, I considered activating the Discount skill, but I decided against it, mindful of the gazes from Arun and Lee Hyo-ju, and since it was a small amount.

When I handed over a Mithril coin, he tried to give me 1 gold as change, but I declined, saying it was a tip.

Then, claiming it was an honor—though I’m not sure what exactly was so honorable—he volunteered to guide us personally.

The rooms were located on the top floor of the inn, the third floor: one four-person room and two single rooms.

There was a bit of a fuss while deciding who would use which room, but I ended up sharing the four-person room with the two nuisances, while Arun and Lee Hyo-ju each took a single room.

Arun insisted on canceling one of the single rooms to share with me, but I flatly refused. I wanted more space and needed to keep an eye on the trash with me.

While wanting more space was partly true, the real reason I wanted to stay away from Lee Hyo-ju and Arun was that I didn’t want to reveal my unique skills and special crafting too soon.

Even if they become trustworthy later on, it will be the same.

I wanted to keep things like the skill system and the Verify command as secret as possible.

After a bit of commotion, as soon as I entered the spacious four-person room, I tied the trashy bastards in the corner and soaked in hot water for the first time in a while.

Enjoying the luxury of dissolving a ‘Superior Stamina Potion’ in the steaming bathtub, I opened the status window.

Numbers representing physical and divine power stats and descriptions of titles scrolled up smoothly.

A satisfied smile lingered on my lips at the thought that these incredible abilities, unimaginable in my previous life, now constituted my information as I stepped onto the ‘Battlefield of the Gods’.

‘So far, so good.’

So far, so good. It’s not the best, but I can confidently say it’s the best outcome beyond what I had planned.

At least at this level, wouldn’t I be similar to or slightly ahead of those called monsters?

As I organized my thoughts while looking at the status window, the water had already cooled.

After finishing the bath and returning to the room, the first thing that caught my eye was Unos, struggling all over and diligently banging his head against the entrance door.

“You’re working hard.”

When I casually commented on the sight, the rhythmic knocking on the inn door abruptly stopped.

Should I call it impressive or pathetic, seeing him struggling desperately to survive?

‘Verify.’

―Strength and agility have significantly decreased due to a critical physical injury. The continuous impact on the already injured body after a fatal wound has further drastically reduced stamina.
―The mana core is completely shattered following a collision of force and mana within the core.
―The body can be restored with a 'restoration' spell from a priest with divinity of 151 or higher. However, the broken mana core cannot be restored even with a 'restoration' spell.
―Combining a Super Unique grade status recovery potion with a top-tier potion can heal the body's injuries.
―Attempting to heal the broken mana core is possible with a Demigod grade restoration potion and an 'absolute recovery' spell from a priest with divinity of 201 or higher. (Success rate 33%)

Unos’s limbs were bent in different directions, and his mana core was shattered, and he kept sobbing during transport, so I cut off his tongue because I didn’t want to hear it.

In such a state, Unos, who was almost a lump of meat, couldn’t even turn himself over. It’s admirable how he managed to move all the way to the door, though I don’t know how.

The last part of the status window’s description mentions a Demigod grade potion, which, as far as I know, doesn’t exist. And a divinity stat of 201?

In short, the broken mana core needs to be healed by a god or at least a transcendent being directly.

After checking Unos’s status window, a sense of satisfaction even greater than a long-awaited bath enveloped me.

Who said revenge is futile?!

Perhaps that’s the feeling that arises when one can’t control their anger and ends up beheading someone. I still have countless ways to torment him.

I plan to bend those fingers in every direction and then cut them off. Does someone who can’t stand even need toes?

I also see unnecessary muscles on his body. Plus, if it seems like he’s going to die, there’s a way to heal him and start from the beginning again.

There’s still a lot left to cut, bend, and slash, and I have three bottles of top-grade Sanitas potion.

Thinking about him writhing in pain, begging for life, or death, made me tremble.

Next to him, Katarina, who now looked completely vacant, was staring blankly at the ceiling.
