The dessert cafe was quieter on a weekday morning than on weekends. Gyu-yeon opened the shop door with a displeased look. Naru’s dismissive attitude toward him on the way over had left him in a sour mood.
Seo-yeon noticed his expression and looked away. If she ended up at the receiving end of that mood today, she could be scolded—or have some trivial thing nitpicked.
“Hello, boss!”
Do-min, who still hadn’t figured Gyu-yeon out, greeted brightly. With a deep-brown apron tied at his waist and his hair neatly set, he looked better than when they’d first met.
