I currently had four titles.

[Warrior Who Commands Flames]
[Indomitable Warrior]
[Flame Warlord]
[Apostle Slayer]

Did one of them grant me immunity to skills that inflicted status ailments?

I wasn’t sure, but I could figure that out later.

Right now, defeating this monster took priority.

“I’ll be learning your skill.”

I learned the Gigant Eye’s [Immobilization: High Grade] skill.

It seemed like a useful skill, so I decided to upgrade it to Ultimate.

Spending 10,000 Skill Points was a painful expense, but considering how many more monsters I’d have to hunt to earn points in the future, this seemed like a worthwhile investment.

I evolved the skill and activated it.

“[Immobilization: Ultimate]!”

The Gigant Eye stopped moving completely.

“Looks like this fight is over.”

I approached with my sword in hand.

“[Whirlwind Slash: Ultimate]!”

With a two-stage attack combining wind pressure and my blade, I effortlessly defeated the Gigant Eye.

At the same time, the [Immobilization] affecting Flare and Zels wore off.

“Ah, I can move again…”

Flare smiled brightly.

“Aerial, what just happened—?”

Zels stared at me.

“Apparently, it’s the power of one of my titles. It seems to make me immune to [Immobilization]—or rather, probably all status ailments.”

“…So on top of being able to learn and evolve skills, you have an ability like that too?”

Zels’s expression grew grim.

“You’re practically a monster.”

That afternoon, we completed another subjugation quest.

“…You’re doing two quests in a single day? Isn’t that pretty demanding?”

“On busy days, I’ve done five or even ten.”

“!?”

Zels’s eyes widened at my words.

“You really are a monster…”

“Well, it’s only because I was able to learn a bunch of skills at once and become stronger.”

I gave a wry smile.

“Anyway, I’m going to accumulate as many Skill Points as possible. And once I’ve saved up enough—”

I looked at Zels and smiled.

“I’ll finally start strengthening everyone’s skills.”

That was right. Only when I reached that point would the real work begin.

For now, I was prioritizing strengthening myself so I could complete subjugation quests more efficiently.

But my original goal wasn’t to become the strongest person alive.

It was to make this entire nation’s military strength and defensive capabilities the strongest in the world.

That was the goal I was working toward now.
