“…Damn it.”

I mumbled quietly and shook my head.
Logically, shouldn’t they have sent the guy who caused the mess here and not me?

Why me?

“Let’s stop now.”

No matter how much I cursed or thought about my fate, I had fully realized over the past 2 days that nothing would change.

Now, it was crucial to analyze the situation calmly and decide what to do.

Scribble.

I took out a notebook and pen that I had prepared next to the table.

I began to write about the immediate problems I was facing.

‘I have been diligently gathering information for two days.’

Even catching up on news I hardly ever watched.

And the newspapers given away for free.

Whenever possible, I connected to the internet to learn about various social happenings.

So, my first firm belief was that…

This place was indeed the world of (Gonis Archive Life).

‘I have no doubt of it.’

Characters often dubbed as ‘human rights characters’ or ‘breathing rights’ due to their superior abilities frequently made headlines.

Moreover, if one looked at history or past events, there were numerous connections to the ‘main story’.

“Is the tutorial starting in about two months?”

From the fact that the recruitment notice for the (Gonis Hunter Academy), the main setting of ‘GAL’, was 2 months away, one could roughly guess the current timeframe.

‘If that is the case…’

It seemed like this could be significantly noted down.

[Issues and Future Policies]
1. Main Story.
2. Progress.
3. The perception of male hunters.
4. Gacha (X)

The first thing I thought about was the main story of <GAL>.

‘…This is quite significant.’

Of course, as the main essence was about pretty and cute girls gathering to do adorable things, most of it unfolded as a bright story.

But that was only from the player’s perspective.

It was only seen that way through the eyes of the ‘Supervisor’.

In reality, if one looked closely, it was a game that was subtly dark and cruel.

There were many supporting characters who just ‘die’ without a noise; only a report would be submitted, and their faces were not shown.

‘…Well, it’s a world with ‘skills’ and ‘monsters’, so maybe that’s to be expected.’

Thankfully, the overall difficulty wasn’t too high.

The most thrilling part of this game was the (PVP) where Supervisors would take up their skills and aim for each other’s heads.

And competing for good rewards in (World Class) raids.

Both were sub-contents that didn’t have much to do with the main story.

The ‘main story’ itself was relatively easy to handle without much effort.

‘I need to enroll in the academy first.’

Both the main story and the sub-stories revolved around ‘Gonis Hunter Academy’.

Actually, when I first possessed this body, I thought this way.

Should I just not care about enrolling and just live my life here…?

Wouldn’t the other 5★ characters save the world on their own?

Do I, an ordinary person, really need to step up?

That was my first realistic thought.

But soon, I changed my mind.

I knew the future of this world.

I knew how the fate of the world would turn out, what events would happen, and who would invade, and of course, I also knew the best way to deal with them.

‘…It feels so wrong to just stand by when I can do something about it.’

And surely, here, there must be characters that I have painstakingly nurtured and raised.

Seeing those kids in the future crying their eyes out with snot and tears or dying was something I didn’t like as a ‘Supervisor’.

Especially if it meant not stepping ahead despite being able to prepare for the future.

‘…Okay. The first one ends here.’

Second one.

Yu Seha.

It was the name of the body I had possessed.

I intently looked at the full-length mirror installed next to the desk.

As soon as I saw it, I felt as if the atmosphere had brightened up, with a handsome young man standing there.

Straddling the line between a boy and an adult.

A mysterious aura visible due to being at an ambiguous age.

With pale-looking white skin.

Obsidian black hair and eyes tinted with purple.

He was pretty, but not to the extent of being mistaken for a woman due to a lack of masculine features.

Commonly, he was the perfect example of what you’d call a handsome man with the elegance of a courtesan.

‘…Damn it, he is so fucking handsome.’

It was weird to evaluate a man, not being a woman myself.

But this boy was so handsome that it would bring in exclamations from everywhere.

Personally, this was cheating. Why cheating you might ask?

It was because, with such looks, he had the height and some muscles that an average man could possess.

Clearly, the result of recent months of self-training.

‘…Handsome guys shouldn’t work out!’

Anyway, it wasn’t that this face was unfamiliar to me.

Rather, I knew this face.

Because I had often seen it in illustrations and 3D graphics with a double body ratio.

Surprisingly, this guy was a native 5★ character.

And he was even an original member.

Based on the test server before the official launch of (GAL).

He was one of the initial 10 characters to appear, too.

In other words, he was a character of the elder class.

‘…So what?’

He was the least popular.

Why so?

There was no need for details, the biggest reason being that he was a male character.

‘GAL’ was a typical beautiful girl collecting RPG bonsai game.

As such, the overwhelming majority of its main customer base was male.

Naturally, a dude with a dick wouldn’t be welcomed here.

Was that why?

Having thoroughly learned the rule that ‘male characters’ don’t make money, the operators haven’t released a single male character since ‘Yu Seha’.

In other words, he was the only unique male character in this game.

That was ‘Yu Seha’, the character I have become.

‘Normally, this would mean his performance should be bad, as per the unwritten rule.’

Surprisingly, though, his performance was very good.

No, to be frank, he was an overpowered character.

This guy’s unique ability was also ground-breaking in ‘GAL’.

Instead, it was so tricky to handle that one inevitably had to devise a professional training tree.

Could it be because of one high stat?

This guy had base stats unbelievably low for a 5★.

“…Status window.”

“…This is serious stuff.”

How was this the stat of a naturally born 5★?

Effectively, a 3★, no, even if it was said to be a 2★, it wasn’t a reliable stat.

As far as I know, the average admission stat of the ‘Gonis Academy’ was known to be around 15, at least.

What kind of guts did this kid have to even try and take the test?

‘But…’

[Unique Ability] was an overwhelming cheat.

: (???, Unlocks when combined with specific skill)
◉Detailed Information
: The eyes of the one who governs. With just a look, they can handle all the skills in the world.

“Woah…”

Even in the game, when I first saw it, I thought, ‘Does this make sense?’

Looking at it again, it was such a cheat ability that made me exclaim in awe.

The only character in ‘GAL’ with the unique [Ability Copy] trait.

It was a shame that it had to be a guy with a dick between his legs.
But still, it was good news for me.

After all, this was precisely why Yu Seha had such high potential and why he was difficult to use.

In theory, you could learn everything.
Of course, it was possible to create combinations that would normally be absolutely impossible.

But the operators weren’t fools or idiots, and this ‘understanding’ was very complicated.

‘…I just cannot figure out the criteria.’

Even after five years, it was still not exactly clear what needed to be done to acquire it.

All that was known was that the target was ‘humanoid’.
And that if it was an NPC, the chances of acquisition were high.

It somewhat made sense.

Logically, since even a human wouldn’t be able to breathe fire from his mouth like a monster.

‘…Would that be possible, though?’

Well, anyway… I decided to try it out several times once I got used to this body.

The next point of interest was the title [Sword Saint].

One of the professions called (Class), which each character possessed.

Among the countless professions, it was naturally considered one of the most powerful dealer jobs.

Actually, when a new character would be released, even if the skill set was poor, it was standard practice to research it at least once if the class was [Sword Saint].

The reason was due to the skill tree called [Transferring All-rounder] known as a cheat.

It was a cheat skill tree that continuously outputs high damage without any conditions, and a ‘Sword Saint’ who had set this skill would become a true all-around dealer, covering closer, mid, and long-range attacks.

However, perhaps due to balancing issues or intentionally, the [Transferring All-rounder] skill tree was still locked and couldn’t be learned in the early stages.

Probably, the intention of the management team was to only recognize those who had grown through agony and patience.

They didn’t want people to grow that easily with cheat skills from the beginning and then reach their final growth with [Eyes of Reversed Heaven].

This was precisely why Yu Seha was considered tough to handle.

In conclusion, Yu Seha required consistent effort and patience to truly shine.

‘Hm…’

Definitely, a tricky situation.

But that’s okay.

‘Looking at it again, Yu Seha got an upgrade.’

How did I know?

Originally, Yu Seha had no special traits in the early stages.

But there it was, the trait called [Song of the Sword] clearly visible.

Since there were so many complaints about Yu Seha, it was a trait thrown in by the operators as if to appease the users.

<Skill Information>
◉Name: Song of the Sword
◉Grade: Epic
◉Level: 1
◉Special Effects
: Amplifies the power of unlocked ‘Sword’ type abilities. The amplification rate is determined by the caster’s talent and mental strength.
: As the amplification rate increases, the caster’s physical and mana consumption rises sharply.
-Unlocked: increase in power of [Draw Sword] type skills. (Increase rate: 100%~???%)
-Unlocked: [???], conditions not met.
◉Detailed Information
: A piece of the [Sword God] series that has mastered all types of swords.

This, while not as much as [Eyes of Reversed Heaven], was still a characteristic of deceit.

It was a trait that compensated for the lack of attack power in the early stages, and indeed, after this came into existence, many ‘supervisors’ roles with the parties, led by Yu Seha, had emerged.

Of course, I didn’t raise one.

Why?

‘…Why the hell would I raise a dude with a dick in a game of cute girls?’

It wasn’t like this game would reward you generously for raising a single character well and going on a rampage.

There was no reason to rub faces with a guy just to look at one performance.

‘I’d rather spend that time living a happy life with my favorite character.’

Anyway, I stopped thinking about Yu Seha.

Then, the third.

The perception of male hunters.

The treatment of male hunters.

Or, should I say, the universal image?

Personally, it was the most surprising thing I found while digging through my phone for the past 2 days.

Here, the majority of the stronger and more active hunters were women.

Was that why?

Even in the news, of those referred to as high-ranking individuals, a significant number of them were women.

“…Surely, the biggest reason for this situation has to do with mana.”

In the game, every character had a blue gauge.

Commonly called MP, it was an essential resource consumed when using [Skills].

The amount and quality of this determined the ‘Awakened’s’ strength.

And the vast majority of magical power was greater in women than in men.

It wasn’t that there were fewer male Awakened.

The gender ratio was about 50%.

Meaning, half were men.

But in the end, the reality was that the majority of the upper-middle top ranks were all women.

Wasn’t it commonly referred to as an unavoidable difference in talent based on gender?

Honestly, I was curious.

But in a corner of my mind, there was this thought that made sense.

Usually, when talking about ‘GAL’.

I was curious even when we called it ‘GAL’ for short.

‘Why don’t I even see a hint of men?’

Whether NPCs or just those who happened to help out, they were all women.

I thought maybe it was because most of the Supervisors were men… but if that was the background, I could somewhat understand.

‘Whatever.’

When it was a matter of life and death.

What did it matter?

The point was, it didn’t matter if I was strong, right?

Finally, the most anticipated fourth point.

This was the most important one.

At the same time, a serious one.

Actually, it was less significant than all the things mentioned before combined.

Fourth, Gacha. (X)

“There is no gacha…”

Gacha was… commonly referred to as a drawing.

As mentioned before, (Gonish Archive Life) was a game that was generally easy in difficulty.

Convenience systems for ‘Supervisors’ have developed quite a bit.

But the biggest thing was, of course, the characters of at least 3★ that came from gacha.

And the existence of [Equipment] and [Runes], which were the core of growth.

I was shocked at the level of equipment sold in the hunter market or app stores.

Equipment that was considered low-tier and uncommon to rare among ‘Supervisors’ was highly prized and scarce here.

Considering that just spinning the gacha could pile up rare grade items to be recycled, the overall power balance of this world was significantly lower than the original.

The absence of various growth materials that could be bought with the currently paid ‘Red Stone’ and packages, commonly called ‘Generous’, also played a big part.

‘…A game of choice without gacha?’

Roaming around to farm items and having to grow by strengthening [Skills] without any paid currency was pretty much the same thing.

“Ha, what do I do?”

Being a professional broadcaster for (GAL) for a long time made me a veteran who wouldn’t be outdone anywhere.

I’ve consistently maintained my ranker status and have done all sorts of ridiculous shows for views.

So, although I really didn’t like it…

I was confident I could raise this 5★ character, just in name, beyond just making a living to the point where people would exclaim, ‘Crazy!’

“…But having absolutely no foundation is a bit…”

While scratching my head, thinking, ‘What kind of stat increase event is there?’, ‘Should I swing the wooden sword all day long now?’… that was when it happened.

I suddenly felt a chill down my spine.

Before I knew it, my eyes were drawn towards the window.

And something black flew towards me at a high speed.

Crash!

“Oh my, fuck!”

I was so surprised that I ended up cursing.

Roll.

In the meantime, something that had broken through the window stopped in the corner of the room.

It was quite large in a rectangular shape.

A form easily seen on the streets.

It was…

“…A box?”

It was an ordinary cardboard box, typically used for moving.

I slowly got up and stopped in front of it, avoiding the broken glass pieces.

It was looser than I thought, as the sticker easily tore off with my hand.

The first thing that appeared was a white envelope and the letter inside it.

“Wh-what is this?”

Then, the first word that greeted me was.

[Sorry, lol]

“… This motherfucker?”
