I, Seyi Falt, headed for the Sky Castle where the Demon God of Flame resided.

Riding on the back of my Henchman No. 2 dragon, I flew straight up into the sky.

“Uuuugh… It’s hooot! It’s so hot I’m gonna die!”

Maybe because the Demon God was near, the outside temperature had risen quite a bit.

Well, I had drunk an adaptation potion, so I was fine.

“Give me some too!”

“Your skin is protected by your outer hide, isn’t it?”

I was delicate, so if I stayed in a place this ridiculously hot, my flesh would roast and turn into charcoal.

However, from what I could see, this dragon had some pretty hard scales.

So she would be fine.

“Hm? Looks like the enemy is welcoming us.”

As we approached the castle, several birds wreathed in flames came flying toward us.

The Demon God was probably trying to eliminate us as intruders.

“Hiiih! They’re packed with crazy amounts of mana! I’m gonna die from this!”

“I don’t care. Go.”

“No, no, no! I’ll die! I’ll seriously die!”

“Go.”

“I caaan’t!”

“Then I guess I’ll blow you up.”

“Fine, damn iiiit!”

Vivre flew straight through the flaming birds.

The whirlwind she stirred up blew the birds away.

“See? You were fine.”

“I-I see… You knew it would turn out like this, didn’t you?”

“That’s right. That’s why I told you to go. Listen when people talk, henchman.”

I kicked Errand Girl No. 2’s back over and over.

Vivre said in a pathetic voice, “This person is amazing, but she kind of reminds me of the past, so I hate it…” The past? Oh, she meant her previous master.
