The Demon God of Flame Durji waited at the place Seyi Falt was heading toward.
As the King of Flame, he sat leisurely on the throne of the castle the dragons had built.
“Hmph… Come here if you can. Though such a thing is impossible.”
Durji generated heat of several thousand degrees Celsius simply by being alive.
He was a threat to humanity simply by being alive… a walking disaster.
He could control it so that it would not burn whatever he chose.
Otherwise, this castle would have melted into sludge in an instant and vanished without a trace.
He manipulated flame and heat as if they were his own limbs… no, the very concept of manipulating them did not even apply.
When people walked, they did not think of themselves as controlling their bodies. They did not describe it that way.
For things one could do far too naturally, even words were unnecessary.
Durji’s dictionary did not contain concepts like enemy or attack, concepts possessed by every animal that lived in the natural world.
…Until that day.
“Hmm, it feels kind of humid and hot in here.”
“What…!?”
He could only be shocked. He should have been emitting tremendous heat around him, enough that no one could approach.
And yet the woman who entered the castle… stood there calmly, with an expression that said it was nothing at all.
“Are you the king of the sky?”
The woman grinned. A chill ran down his spine.
The one standing before him was no ordinary human…
To Durji, she looked like a monster… wearing human skin.
And that premonition… would prove perfectly correct.
At the hands of the Queen of Monsters, he would be made to understand it painfully well.
True violence.
