Because the magic tool artisan guild [Gourmets of Venom] treated the employees far too cruelly, my anger exploded and I drove out the person in charge (physically).

“Master. What you did is completely a home invasion robbery. End.”

The maid Cherge calmly retorted.

“I know. But look at them sleeping like mud from exhaustion.”

After eating their fill of the food Cherge made and drinking recovery potions, they slept on simple beds made by piling straw.

…Surprisingly, there weren’t even simple beds here. Are they joking? They’re joking, right?

“I absolutely cannot forgive those bastards who treat humans like livestock.”

“Indeed! Splendid, my lord!”

“Onee-chan is kind!”

Thank you Toka-chan, Daphne-chan.

Meanwhile Zenith-chan stated a calm opinion.

“…If the on-site manager is replaced without notifying above, it will become a problem. Most likely there will be contact from upper management soon?”

“Probably. But that’s convenient. Without us going, the boss will come.”

I want to tell the boss a thing or two. It’s obvious the Gourmets of Venom are causing this pollution.

“Now then, while the employees are sleeping, we’ll talk about the policy from here on.”

I gathered the slave girls and Cherge and spoke.

“I intend to greatly reform this magic tool artisan guild.”

“…Not dismantle it?”

“Yes. Even if we physically destroy it, if another workshop of the same system appears afterward, pollution will occur again. So I thought I’ll change this guild from the root.”

“I see…”

Toka-chan and the others nodded.

“…I understand reforming this guild. Specifically, what will you do?”

“That’s after grasping the current situation. Zenith-chan, Cherge. You check the documents. Investigate what and how much is produced here, cost, and work time.”

Elf Zenith-chan and maid Cherge nodded.

“Toka-chan and Daphne-chan, please do a thorough cleaning inside the workshop. Chi-chan help them.”

“Understood!”

“Yes!”

“Gwaa!”

Fire Drakekin Toka-chan, rabbit tribe Daphne-chan, and earth dragon Chi-chan nodded.

“…What will Seyi-sama do?”

“Well, for now I’ll quickly finish the work the employees are currently handling. Alright everyone. Begin actions.”

“““Roger…!”””

The slave girls and maid left the room.

Left behind, I looked around the workshop.

“I wonder what they’re making now…”

I looked over the work table.

One sword was placed there. A circular hole was carved at the base of the handle.

“I see, they were making a magic-enchanted sword.”

A processed mana crystal was placed on the table.

Mana crystal. A special crystal collected from monster bodies or inside dungeons.

By enchanting this and attaching it to swords or tools, it becomes a magic tool.

Not all magic tools are made this way, but the simplest method is using this mana crystal enchantment.

“Even so… terrible workmanship…”

The processed crystal had cracks on the surface and was uneven.

Mana crystals transmit magic most efficiently when processed into a sphere.

Even if magic is applied, the tool won’t fully display its effect like this.

“Is there no SOP…?”

SOP was basically a manual describing procedures when working.

Something that becomes the standard anyone can make by reading… could not be found anywhere.

“No SOP at the site… Even though Zenith-chan is searching, this was never made.”

I wanted to call them idiots. Throwing people into the field with vague technical guidance is meaningless. The ones troubled are the ones giving orders above.

Unless they properly understand the hardship of the lower workers and train them, the site will collapse someday. Not even understanding something so simple…!

Superiors who don’t understand the workplace should all be KILL— whoops, my corporate-slave era dark self almost came out.

“Things to do are decided. Cher—”

“What is it, Master? End.”

“Woah! Where did you come from!”

“I thought you would call me. End.”

They say acting before being told is first-class, but appearing suddenly is surprising…

Well, whatever.

“Cherge. Leave document organization to Zenith-chan. You are my assistant.”

“Understood. End.”

“And bring the Acceleration Potion.”

Cherge took out a new potion from storage.

Acceleration Potion. If drunk you can move several times faster.

Normally used in battle, but in my case I use it when I want to finish massive work at once.

I opened the bottle and drank it.

“Gulp gulp… phew! Now… let’s do this! Follow me, Cherge!”

My thoughts and hands super-accelerated. Processing mana crystals. Forming magic tools. Also creating SOP.

Cherge placed in front of me what I wanted exactly when I wanted it.

As expected of robot maid. She properly kept up with my accelerated movements.

After about three hours passed, one employee staggered out from the nap room.

A boy with an innocent face.

“U-um…”

“Ah, good morning. You could sleep longer.”

“Y-yes… um… you are…”

Apparently he didn’t understand the situation.

Well, makes sense.

“I am Seyi Falt. A traveling alchemist.”

“Y-yes… um… what are you doing here, Seyi-sama?”

“I was making magic tools. The ordered ones.”

His eyes opened wide.

His face turned pale.

“O-oh no! The magic tools due today are still piled up! I shouldn’t have been sleeping!”

“Relax. They’re all finished.”

“Eh?”

I handed him the enchanted sword I made.

He examined it carefully… and his eyes popped.

“A-amazing… what is this perfect enchantment. The mana conduction rate is completely different. With this…”

He placed the sword on top of a pencil lying on the workbench.

It cut.

Together with the table.

“W-w-what is this!? I’ve never seen such an amazing enchantment!”

“Really? I only enchanted iron-cutting as ordered.”

“Iron-cutting only slightly increases sharpness! It shouldn’t cut an iron work table without force or momentum!”

Oh? Wasn’t iron-cutting literally magic granting sharpness that slices iron?

“Master. This is a future where technology declined. The effect differs from 500 years ago. End.”

Ah, I see…

He returned the iron-cutting sword to the sheath and bowed to me.

“My apologies! I did not know you were such a great magic tool artisan! This sword is magnificent! I’ve never seen such a wonderful magic tool!”

Well, seems I fulfilled the order.

But I must warn one thing.

“Hey, what’s your name?”

“Terry!”

“Then Terry-kun.”

Yes, this must be said.

“I’m not a magic tool artisan. I’m an alchemist.”

Terry-kun stared blankly.

Why? Making magic tools is also an alchemist’s job…
