The aloof Ice Tina now lay like a little bird in Naiye’s arms.
A small beret still sat on her head; aside from that, the armor she had been wearing was casually tossed on the ground.
The Ice Tina now still wore the disciplinary officer’s white gloves and a thin blue jumpsuit.
All that remained were pure white long socks wrapping her long, firm thighs.
After Tina sat on Naiye, she said nothing and showed no other reaction.
Although Naiye wasn’t particularly large, he could still hold the petite Ice Tina.
She was still that cold, expressionless type, as if she truly had no emotional fluctuation.
But if that were entirely true, she wouldn’t turn her head away, unwilling to face Young Master Naiye.
As Young Master Naiye, who had known her before she became an Ice-element knight, he long ago understood how she felt now.
Young Master Naiye already knew how to get her attention.
“Come, look at this.”
Naiye hugged Tina’s waist with one hand and took out his terminal with the other—actually just that crystal block.
After fiddling with it a few times.
A person’s image appeared.
“…!”
Ice Tina turned her head slightly, glanced, and immediately her cold eyes widened.
It was a very beautiful girl, posture dignified and upright, with a faint confident smile on her face.
A disciplinary officer’s beret was already on her head, but this one was the ordinary disciplinary officer’s beret.
Her hair and eyes were a rather plain light gray, showing no distinctive features.
Yet aside from those traits, this girl was almost identical to the Tina beside him.
In fact, this was Tina—the Tina from before she received the Ice-element blessing.
Young Master Naiye had known everyone since he enrolled at fifteen, especially Tina before she became an Elemental Knight.
He had even taken quite a few photos and recordings.
Most of them actually didn’t know how convenient this magical technology was.
Young Master Naiye continued flipping through, and various scenes reappeared before Tina.
The icy, expressionless look of the Ice-element knight began to change little by little.
“…!!!”
Naiye flipped to a brand-new photo: the brilliantly clever Young Master Naiye had finished his studies in just one year and had to immediately return to inherit the Lycoris household.
And beside him, Tina—crying like a little girl, sobbing loudly, her small hand clutching Young Master Naiye.
At that time Tina hadn’t yet received the Ice-element blessing and was nothing like her current expressionless, cold persona.
“Enough!”
Ice Tina slapped the crystal block with one hand and shut off the image.
Her expression finally showed feeling; Tina turned around and wrapped her firm long legs around Naiye.
The Ice-element knight Tina straddled the young master of the Lycoris household, arms wrapped around him.
But the teasing Naiye continued speaking to her face.
“What’s wrong, don’t like looking at these lovely memories? She was so cute back then.”
Ice Tina’s long brows were slightly arched by Young Master Naiye’s teasing tone, but she still asked the main question first.
“Naiye, what are you doing back at a time like this? Don’t you know the Auriel Knight Academy is in wartime now? This isn’t the peaceful time when you previously calmly finished your studies.”
Ice Tina asked three questions in a row.
Summed up practically: why come back to the Academy in this wartime?
Everyone knew Naiye was the young master of the house, and for that reason they even mobilized collectively to welcome him.
Even the strongest knights—the candidate for Knight King and the Student Council President—went personally.
And unsurprisingly, the Caesar Federation also sent automata to greet him.
But Young Master Naiye seemed utterly unconcerned about all of this!
“I’m just here to study; I only spent one year before. Although the academic period is ten years, usually it takes at least three to five years to fully graduate.”
Naiye still wore a flirtatious smile, his arms around Ice Tina’s slim waist.
Because of the Ice element, a faint chill could be felt when touching her skin.
“Hmph…”
Tina’s expression showed a slight frown, then immediately reverted.
She even let out a cold hum just like her sister’s.
What Young Master Naiye had just said was neither entirely true nor false—there was definitely truth to half of it.
The academic period at the Auriel Knight Academy was as long as ten years, and the starting age had to be at least fifteen.
Graduation was actually very simple: just complete one’s studies.
That Young Master Naiye could finish his studies and graduate in only a year was not only because of his clever mind.
It was also because he wasn’t a knight—he had actually only completed half of the Academy’s requirements.
As a knight academy, the Auriel Knight Academy’s academics and knight training each occupied half the curriculum!
So in other words, this young master of the house Naiye hadn’t lied: he really had finished his studies and graduated, but he hadn’t touched the knight-related part, which was the most important at the Academy.
Thus Ice Tina immediately understood that Young Master Naiye’s words were indeed true, but far from complete…
“Really? The Academy is at war right now… what are you back for?”
Ice Tina’s ice-blue pupils stared at Naiye; like everyone else, Naiye’s return at this time truly surprised them all.
Everyone thought Young Master Naiye was a major wildcard.
Most knights who came to the Auriel Knight Academy naturally aimed to become Knight King.
And achieving that goal was at once very simple and yet very difficult.
That meant aiming to surpass all knights, reaching the pinnacle through one’s own power and strength.
[Strength is the reason for being king]
The supreme knight—the Knight King—is the world’s top knight; knights of this nation begin aiming for that goal from birth!
Currently at the top of the Academy stood President Meiyu.
She had been the Student Council President for three years.
This position was not only the acting dean of the Auriel Knight Academy but also a seat of rulership.
And if the Student Council President held the position steadily for five years.
Queen Auriel would bestow the supreme blessing, and they would become the true Knight King.
Not only had Ice Tina’s sister Fire Lina been continuously challenging President Meiyu, but other knights had never ceased their challenges.
However, once President Meiyu ascended to that seat, she had never been shaken.
For example, Naiye’s welcoming avenue was organized by President Meiyu, and the Four Great Knight Families could not be ignored.
After Naiye arrived at the Academy, it was clear that everyone’s relations had become unexpectedly tense.
“Alright, the main reason I’m back is… someone asked me to handle matters you couldn’t deal with.”
–Matters you couldn’t handle…
Ice Tina still looked at Young Master Naiye with suspicion.
The Student Council and its subordinate disciplinary officers were Auriel knights, responsible for managing the Academy, maintaining order, and handling matters big and small.
What Naiye meant was that due to the intensity of this conflict, there were indeed many things with no one to handle them.
Although the Student Council led, it only managed the Knight Academy and didn’t mean it could arbitrarily rule knights of the Four Great Knight Families.
They had considerable autonomy within their own territories.
“………..”
But Tina was puzzled as to who had summoned Naiye.
Shouldn’t it be the Student Council President?!
After all, she personally came to welcome Young Master Naiye.
Just as Ice Tina was pondering carefully, Naiye’s diversion tactic succeeded.
Everyone would likely assume it was President Meiyu who called Naiye.
But in fact it wasn’t President Meiyu who invited Naiye—Young Master Naiye had asked President Meiyu to welcome him himself!
And there was only one person who truly called him to the Academy!
That was Auriel’s supreme being, Her Majesty the Queen.
