Chapters Are Now 5 Qi: Half Price, and a Simpler Way to Unlock

Starting today, premium chapters cost 5 qi instead of 10. That's half price, across every novel on SkyDemonOrder. Nothing else about unlocking changes: the qi already in your wallet is simply worth twice the chapters it was yesterday.

Same packs, twice the chapters

Qi pack prices stay exactly where they were. What changes is how far they go:

  • Magic Pills: 100 qi for $5, now unlocks 20 chapters
  • Ancient Pills: 225 qi for $10, now unlocks 45 chapters
  • Divine Pills: 500 qi for $20, now unlocks 100 chapters
  • Heavenly Pills: 1,375 qi for $50, now unlocks 275 chapters
  • Godly Pills: 3,000 qi for $100, now unlocks 600 chapters

Qi becomes the one way to unlock

We're also simplifying how supporting a novel works. Over the past weeks we've listened to a lot of feedback on Lifetime purchases, from paying readers and from our translators, and we've decided to retire them. From today, Lifetime is no longer sold: qi is the single way to unlock chapters on SkyDemonOrder. One currency, one price, every novel, with a single exception below.

This also applies to Premium Complete novels: their chapters now unlock with qi, chapter by chapter, like everything else.

Already own a Lifetime? Nothing changes

If you bought a Lifetime unlock, your access is permanent, exactly as promised. Nothing is revoked, nothing expires, and the novels you own stay fully open to you. Retiring Lifetime only means it is no longer sold going forward.

The one exception: Return of the Mount Hua Sect

Return of the Mount Hua Sect is a very different monster: 626 premium chapters as of today, July 10, 2026, and still growing. Unlocking a novel that size chapter by chapter would take more than 3,000 qi, so it keeps its subscription, exactly as it works today. If you're subscribed there, nothing changes for you.
