In the final days of the Konbaung Dynasty, a man stood between two worlds: the world that gave him power and the homeland that gave him his soul.

When the British Empire brought the last Burmese kingdom to its knees in 1885, he survived by accepting the new order. Wealth, status, and influence became his reward—but every time he looked into the mirror, he saw a stranger.

He had gained everything he once dreamed of, yet lost the one thing he could never replace: himself.

Years later, a journey to London forces him to witness the cruel reality of colonial rule. Seeing his own people displayed and humiliated as if they were less than human awakens a pain he can no longer ignore.

Returning to Rangoon, he seeks the help of old friends, nobles, and merchants to stand against the empire. But fear, memories of war, and the desire to protect their families leave him standing almost alone.

With only a few loyal souls beside him, he makes one final choice.

A choice between a comfortable life built on betrayal—or a death that could restore his honor.
