Memories

In a world where supernatural powers and abilities exist, most people imagine the classic struggle between heroes and villains. Heroes use their powers to protect the innocent, while villains use theirs to spread chaos.

I disagree.

If a thief woke up one day with the ability to turn invisible, how would you find him? If a murderer could teleport, how would you catch them? And if a killer could possess another person's body, how would you even know who committed the crime?

In a world of superhuman abilities, even the simplest crimes could become impossible to solve.

Heroes may exist to protect humanity from extraordinary threats, but who investigates the crimes they leave behind?

Sentries.

Those tasked with solving the crimes others deem impossible.

Because even in a world where the impossible is ordinary, someone still has to uncover the truth.
