The first ability was Divine Domain Interference, which the goddess had explained first.

Humans could only stay in the Divine Domain for a maximum of one day and could only exit from the place they entered, so there were inconvenient aspects, but being able to freely enter and leave the Divine Domain anytime and from anywhere was extremely convenient.

If I were about to be attacked by a monster, I could escape into the Divine Domain, and once the monster left I could return again… remembering the many times monsters had nearly killed me before, I truly realized how valuable this ability was.

The second ability was Divine Power Manipulation.

Apparently this allowed the use of all elemental magic by using divine power. Magic in this world was divided into attributes—fire, water, wind, earth, lightning, ice, light, and darkness—and one could only use magic of the attribute they were born with, and only at a scale matching their magical power.

For servants to be able to use all of them was truly an incredible ability. Moreover, because divine power was used, there was no need to worry about magical power, meaning magic could be used almost without limitation.

The third and final ability was Temporary Peace, a power unique to the Goddess of Peace.

The first two abilities were shared by all servants, but the third differed depending on the god. Seremees-sama said the abilities were determined by the Creator God, so it wasn’t something she created herself.

The content of that ability was the power to transfer damage. For example, damage I received could be moved to another person, and the reverse was also possible. It was even possible to transfer damage from one person to another.

However, it apparently had disadvantages as well, such as becoming unusable for several hours after one use, and if the damage was extracted but couldn’t be transferred, there was a risk of an explosion… but I wondered if this ability was really strong.

I could tell it was certainly amazing, but as the ability of the Goddess of Peace it felt a little strange… even the name, Temporary Peace, didn’t sound very peaceful.

“Do you understand it?”

“For the most part, somehow. But um, isn’t Temporary Peace a bit questionable as an ability of the Goddess of Peace? There’s a risk of explosion, and instead of erasing damage it just transfers it, and the name means temporary peace, right…?”

“That can’t be helped. Abilities that erase damage entirely would disrupt the balance of the world, so the Creator God does not create such powers. I chose the name of the ability myself, but you could say it’s a warning to myself. Just because peace is achieved once does not mean it will last forever, so never let your guard down.”

I see… if that’s the case, it made sense. Now that I had become a servant of the Goddess of Peace as well, I should keep that firmly in mind. Carelessness was the source of collapse, after all.

“I understand. Thank you very much.”

“I’m glad.”

“I’ll master these abilities and do my best to be of help to you, Goddess of Peace.”

I made that declaration with determination, since she had given me such incredible abilities, and the Goddess of Peace smiled gently.

“I’m looking forward to it. Also, instead of calling me the Goddess of Peace, I’d like you to call me Seremees. It feels more friendly that way, doesn’t it?”

“Is that really alright?”

“Of course.”

“Then… Seremees-sama.”

Feeling embarrassed at the fact that I was calling the name of such a beautiful woman, I spoke, and Seremees-sama nodded with satisfaction.

“That’s good. Now then, since we’ve finished discussing your abilities, let’s end by talking about how we’ll communicate from now on and how to handle the divine statue. If we talk about too many things, you won’t be able to remember them all.”

Hearing Seremees-sama’s words, I relaxed with relief. My memory had already begun to become hazy.

“First, about how you and I will communicate. As for that, we can contact each other freely anytime and anywhere. Luca, try speaking to me in your mind.”

“Understood… huh, what is this?”

When I called out to Seremees-sama in my mind without speaking aloud, a voice immediately echoed in my head saying, “What is it?”

‘You can hear me, right? You’ll be able to do this even after returning to the mortal world, so we can talk anytime.’

“That’s amazing… then I’ll contact you if something happens.”

“Yes, I’ll probably contact you about various things as well, so answer if you’re not busy.”

“Understood. …By the way, Seremees-sama, can you see what’s happening in the mortal world?”

When I asked that question, Seremees-sama led me to a water jar inside the pavilion. Then she lightly tapped the surface of the water with a staff, one I had no idea where she had taken out from, and the scene of the mortal world appeared on its surface.
